They told us that death was not imminent and our request was denied. Dad died less than 24 hours later. Dad was so afraid of dying. He was afraid that he wouldn't be able to find mom in heaven. Dad died alone, in a cold empty room, with no one to hold his hand or give him comfort. Dying has become lonely and solitary. Prayers for strength to all who are experiencing this grief.

@@matimarwa6689 I am asking - do you have the same feelings for Hindus and Atheists who lose their loved ones? We too are human beings, we have loved ones too But what does your religion say? Such callousness reminds me of what the Nazis did to the Jews They didn't care that the Jews were human beings - young or old, male or female, even little children were not spared! Tell me, does your "God" spare little Hindu children? Pregnant Atheists? Or are they also condemned to gas chambers in hell?

@@ramaraksha01 our God, Allah the one and only is merciful forgiving, in our religion we believe that in the there will be a hereafter and we will go either to Eternal paradise or hell depending on our deeds in this life. As we are mortal beings, we feel so sad when we lose someone dear, it is something universal and all of us will die one day. My advice to you is go search about religion before judging religions, like for us we have the quaran , the word of Allah, you can read it and will correct your misconseptions.

@@matimarwa6689 You didn't answer my question - do Hindu and Atheist loved ones go to Heaven or not? Or God is like a Hitler or Stalin - a Dictator who rewards loyalty(belief) & divides people accordingly? We Hindus have no problem saying we are ALL God's children, we are not slaves And no, God is no Sugar Daddy - there is no magic Retirement Home in the sky where we take it easy God made this world, this earth, gave us this life - THERE IS ONLY ONE WORLD! THIS ONE!

My condolences Fareed. Thanks for sharing the pain of losing a parent. No matter how big or well known one is, we should always remember that the foundation laid by our mom is what enabled this to happen

So horrible that covid found her and that you had to bid your loving farewell at such a painful distance. Your tribute to a clearly remarkable lady and mother was as compelling as it was heart wrenching. My sincerest condolences at this sad and unfortunate time.

I said a prayer for you today… And know God must have heard I felt the answer in my heart…. Although HE spoke not a word. I didn’t ask for wealth or fame… I knew you wouldn’t mind. I asked Him to send treasures… Of a far more lasting kind. I prayed that He’d be near you… At the start of each new day To grant you health and blessings…. And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you… In all things great and small But it was for His loving care… I prayed the most of all.

@Drew P. Balzak Perhaps you aren't familiar with the word Amen. It's derived from Hebrew and means truth, certainty, it is so. There is no gender involved. So perhaps you might want to be a bit less harsh, especially if you are unaware of what the other person was actually saying. Take it from this 73-year-old grandmother, kindness is so much better.
