I was diagnosed with GERD back around 2020, and now I've been dealing with otitus media (ear fluid) and have been wondering if it could be connected to acid reflux. I'm so glad I'm subbed to you; definitely gonna see if stomach stuff will help solve my earache 🥺

I had a filling last year and ever since I ve had lots of issues. First started as sinusitis which I don’t have sinus. Constantly blowing my nose post nasal drip ears stopped up and whistling whilst blowing my nose. Lost my sense of smell to all of this. Now a year later acid comes up every night and I’m up most of the night spitting up. It’s so frustrating that I can’t get a good nights rest. I’ve changed my diet try to sit up 3/4 hrs after eating which is hard to do sometimes due to my back.

What replacements for Reflux Raft are available in Europ/Romania?

So for the last 10 years or so, I’ve had what I personally a believe is GERD. In the past couple of years, I’ve been HEAVILY using antacids. I’m noticing I cough and then lately, when my GERD is bad, my mouth salivates a lot. Now I have this metallic taste in my mouth that’s constant. I also find my tongue feels almost raw and my mouth just feels overall off. Is this something that anybody else has experienced as a result of GERD/silent reflux? In struggling more now than ever but I’m working through it. I greatly appreciate anybody who can provide guidance. Thank you 😊

I'm going to share something not mentioned. In one study, 64% of people with LPR had pepsin in their tears. Many had symptoms of itching, redness, and foreign body sensation in their eyes.

I need to avoid iodine for medical reasons. Does the alginate or the licorice in Reflux Raft contain iodine, if you know?

I have Shortness of Breath about 3-4 times per week, usually after eating anything, no triggers exactly. I can get it after drinking water / taking tablets too. Sometimes, I have excess saliva, but SOB is my main, horrible, symptom. I have NO other symptoms apart from Indigestion.
@BringItOn311243 ай бұрын
Take your pulse rate when this happens. Digestion, salivation, heart rate/rhythm, tear production are all controlled by the vagus nerve. That excess salivation is probably a symptom of LPR.
