I got 12.6.2 yesterday. New driver profiles makes speed control so much better. I turned off Max Speed Offset previously because it would sometimes drive 20mph over the speed limit, which will make me get a ticket for sure. Now I set it to 20% (instead of recommended 40%), but I'd rather be able to set a fixed amount (8 over is my ideal at any speed)

FSD 12.6.2 is bane of my life. Never had i wanted to get rid of my Tesla until this version. MY does not drive the speed limit, always under. Can be set to 76 but will drive below the speed limit of 55. Hesitates in situations I had not seen it do in previous version and more.

Great video and commentary. I have FSD 12.6.1 and it is so much better than 12.4.2.x but keeps dropping below the speed set point on the windy hwy. It does this even when the hwy straightens for a few hundred metres (lot's of feet). It's so bad that I have to continually force the FSD to the set point and hold it there. Then I get the "Autopilot will not brake..." popup. It's so tedious and the traffic lines up impatiently behind the car.

Ive seen a few others with HW3 Model 3 on 12.6.2 toggle the speed profile in the settings, but those dont apply when on roads under 50mph. And 24:43 its stuck cause it wants to reverse lol. Many other testers over the years have determined that the Chill, Standard, Etc. acceleration setting in the Dynamics tab has no effect on FSD or autopilot behaviour. It is strictly for manual driving. Also, if you look at the release notes closely, you will see that Chill, Standard and Hurry profiles under Autopilot don't only take effect when you're on highways. They will also apply to other roads with a speed limit of 50mph or higher. From the release notes: "Customizable Speed Profiles, which apply to roads and highways with 50mph (80kph) or higher speed limit"

1:49 - How is 12.6.2 on highway lane centering? I was HUGELY disappointed in the lane centering on the highway for my refresh Model S with 12.6. On sweeping curves it really biased towards the inside of the curve, so much so that it would even drive on top of the lane markers. I found that quite disturbing and completely unnecessary. FYI, I did my big highway drive in "Chill" mode on 12.6. HUGE mistake. Man does it really go for the right lane like a magnet. If you put the car in the HOV lane it will drive there for 1/2 to 1 mile and then will shift multiple lanes to the right to get to the rightmost lane. In mountains with semi trucks going slow in the right lane, it will pass one semi then boom, right back to the right lane. Unusable for that situation IMHO. Have you driven through any school zones? 12.6 was a downgrade for school zones for me (from 12.3.6) and 12.6.1 only a tiny bit better. I drive through several school zones in my area and on one drive it slowed down on only one of seven school zones. I also find that the speed limit map data is wrong in lots of places. On one street near my house it has the correct limit going one direction (35 MPH) but has the limit as 25 MPH going the opposite direction. I also hate now how it keeps the side street limit of 35 MPH when I pull out onto a street where the limit is 45 MPH. It will finally change the limit to 45 when it "sees" a new speed limit sign, but that sign could be 1/4 to 1/2 mile down the road. Yesterday I turned on to a 45 MPH street and it had the limit immediately at 25 MPH. At times it seems like it can actually "read" the road signs but with school zones it clearly can not or it would get them all correctly.
