The Accra High Court Commercial Division hasreportedly orderecd the sale of two mansionsowned by former Ghanaian football star,Michael Essien.
According to a report by
Dailyguidenetwork.com, which was sighted byGhanaWeb, the properties are located atStephen Quarshie Crescent, East Legon, HouseNumber 9, and House Number 204/205,Trassaco (Phase 2) Adjiringano, all in Accra.
The auctioneer, who is charged with disposingof the properties and spoke on the condition ofanonymity, confirmed the order by the DeputySheriff of the High Court.
The auctioneer estimates that one of theproperties is valued between $20 and $30million.
While the details of the court process remainunclear, a report by Kickgh.com indicates thatthe former Chelsea star has been battlingfinancial issues, including unpaid loans.
