They are trying to transition into more sustainable sea food and squid repopulate every 90 days. They are also delicious. The problem is that we only ever eat calamari for appetizers and not very often. They're trying to change our eating behavior so that people cook and eat squid/calamari at home. More money for Rhode Island and better for the environment than other types of seafood which doesn't repopulate as fast (crabs/fish). I'm definitely going to learn how to make some calamari soon.

Matthew Shepard’s parents casting Wyoming’s vote was deeply stirring, and emotional for me. I was six when Matt was horrifically beaten, and murdered. But, his death still had a profound impact on my life, when I decided to come out. I think about the what if’s, the progress we’ve made since then, but the immense work we still have to do to secure a space where everyone can feel seen, safe, and valued.

Whoever considered America as a WASP nation in mind, obviously lacks any taste for anything, stubborn as a lame-brained mule, dumber than a boxful of rocks and is as dull and boring as a clock...and as romantically-inclined as a milquetoast on Saturday nights in the same sacrosanct mating position in the dark. The only way a Trumpublican gets their jollies off is when they tattle on their liberal-minded and smarter opponents. I say if conservatives and Karens of the world don't like change in their neighborhood, why don't they go back to their ancestral homeland and shtupp themselves to an grand mal epileptic fit, just don't expect the host country to pay the medical bills for your troubles. We, as Americans, welcome all, accept all and love all. Even George Washington said in a speech welcoming Spanish and Portuguese Jews who sought asylum in the US, from persecution in their native land, "To bigotry, no sanction...to persecution, no assistance!"

Michael Kudela i have a republican friend who came over once. Me and another friend were talking about music and how one artist named Zhu totally hid his identity until he got big enough that his race didn't matter. He's Chinese. You see the music industry is more willing to invest in people that can "sell" better and usually this means Asians are sidelined - music is very black and white you see. You know what it felt like though to have someone be in a position where someone who looks like me usually isnt? It's amazing. The diversity aspect of this story only clicked for my republican friend when we spoke about this. Point is it is harder as a minority and to see minorities on the screen is awe inspiring and makes me have hope in the country. Because representation matters. Identify politics? Did we need Tim Scott tell us he's black at the RNC? Did we need Nikki Haley tell us America isn't racist then proceed to tell us about the discrimation she faced? It's on both sides my dude. At least be happy your country is diverse. Your comment is disgusting and ignorant.

Way back in 2016 we were supposed to travel to the United States for a holiday coming from Asia but the toxic mixture of hatred, xenophobia, racism and all the evils spawned by the Trump administration and his supporters made us to completely abandon our plans to visit your country as if we felt unwelcome to your home and could be harassed on the streets with no apparent reason and we don't feel safe staying. Hopefully you'll bring a fresh new change in November and restore the dignity of your country and make it a better place. Good Luck.

His Majesty the King of Malaysia or Yang di Pertuan Agong said that you can't go on like this and we don't want you to fall from grace, pick up the pieces and start rebuilding your nation again. We are so pleased to see the real, ordinary, diverse, creative, decent and friendly face of the American people who including yourself are a ray of hope standing tall and speaking out for change for a better United States. The power to change your country's fate now lies in your hands the American voter, don't let anyone deter you in your most noble and sacred duty in casting your vote, remember that vote is for country's future and for generations to come. When this nightmare is over it is you the American voter who will shine the most, when the new leadership sets in the grim task of healing and recovery will begin its a small step but not for long the United States your home will enter the dawn of a new era and the rest of the world will welcome you back in open arms.

What a beautiful roll call, can we do it like this from now on? We got to see the beauty and diversity and personality of America this way. I laughed at Ohio as someone who lived there for a decade of course they'd say "screwed" in an official DNC message. North Carolina where a lot of my family came from was very on brand, New Mexico was beautiful and Wyoming's was heartbreaking and touching and a reminder of that elections and policies are literally life and death situations.

This is a wonderful way to do the roll call. It shows the diversity of ordinary Americans across this country. I'm especially impressed that Americans abroad were specifically represented, as well as all territories. I'm fortunate to have visited many areas of this diverse country, and this makes me want to visit many more.

I haven't been able to muster up much pride or hope for my country in these past 4 years (and especially during this pandemic). This was really cool! It highlights each of the States, as well as specific issues that the Democrats want to focus on as part of their platform! Not every State took full advantage of this new formar, but enough States did to make this work. And I think it did! Aloha 💙🇺🇸🙏🏼🤙🏼

I know what you mean. Last year until February 2020, I visited/stayed in the Grand Caymans, Jamaica (Kingston & Ocho Rios), Oxford, Cambridge, London, (L.A.) California, Maryland, Washington D.C., (Philadelphia) Pennsylvania and back to Florida. I was planning to be in Japan for the Olympics this year. Everyday, I read about the news in the other countries (how the E.U. is permitting travel on a green/red status) and I’m frustrated that us Americans can’t even go to other states safely (I haven’t seen my boyfriend in person since Valentines Day), much less to other countries, because of how Trump and Republicans are purposely sabotaging our pandemic response efforts.

You all need to control the pandemic first and nurse the nation back to its health and when its safe to do, we in the ASEAN region is ready to open our borders and we will warmly welcome you back when the pandemic is over but we're not allowing racist Karens into our countries who have been declared as "undesirables" and in our Immigration Blacklist.

We are pleased to see the real ordinary, diverse, hardworking, creative and friendly face of the American people who including yourself are standing tall and speaking up to change the country's destiny for the better. Don't lose hope with perseverance, faith and determination you all and the United States will bounce back into a new era that is respected and honored throughout the world and will never be the same again.
