From BC Canada. Love the methods used with the commentary. Your quietness and support given and your consistency. You rode a friends stallion years ago at a clinic. She also has great respect of your handling. Thank you for your training and the results and demonstrating. Your program is awesome. I have ridden for more than 50 years...clinics, pushed cows, mountain riding, camping, still going. Looking forward to more videos.

Hi Tim - Boy, George is very smart and willing. He just needs someone to give him good directions & instructions! He is big for a BLM mustang - looks "cobby" to me. He's going to turn out very nice. And that cat is a hoot....he doesn't hate you, he's trying to get your attention because he wants to play with you 'cause he really likes you! That's why he photo-bombs you, so everyone can see how hard he is working to gain your friendship. Anyway, great video...Thank you from the Pacific Northwest, Washington State peninsula.

I have 3 mustangs. My grey gelding is 14.3 and very stocky. He is 8 years old according to BLM. My bay mare is 15.2 last I measured her. Big boned. She is just turned 4 years. My black mare, 3 years old, is a littler over 14.1, but a finer build. Mustangs come in all sizes, builds and personalities. (I know you know that Tim).

From Australia, have only just started to learn to handle horses... mind you he is a mini paloosa that was neglected and rescued. He nips but have had him for 8 months and I learnt instinctively that I needed to keep him busy! Now he let's me hold his feet, he only nips now if he wants to let me know he's had enough but it is now more a loving pretend nipped all I do is shake my finger at him and keep working. Thank you cos you have just confirmed what I have been doing instinctively but you have given me a detailed technique to do keep practising. Am saving this video so I can keep it as a guideline. Cheers and thank you. You have also shown me how to sort of long line him too.. i want to teach him to cart and pack as he is only 83 cm high but likes to work and play

About bits, I'm glad you had a question on that. Over here ,many people seem to think bits , particularly leverage bits are cruel. I have seen bad sores on a horses face from someone riding in a rope halter, and I have seen many good horsemen riding in leverage bits. Think I will be revisiting your video about bits!

That's good to get Banks checked out by a vet. I was thinking more along the lines that he had been hurt by rough saddling, and his mind developed a strong aversion/fear of being saddled. I was thinking to have a human just be on his back with no saddle with a person walking him or ponying him. And when he realized that wasn't so bad, maybe he would start accepting a saddle -one that has a lot of clearance of his withers.

I’m so glad you said you’re not using the bit on the lead cuz it’s hard to see. I would Hate to encourage that just to ignorance. I might’ve commented on that on a previous video because I thought the lead was hooked into the bit. So I’m really glad you clarified in this video because it’s easier for new people to understand that distinction. So thank you very much. I love your videos.
