Thank you so much for restoring my sewing cabinet. It was originally from my nan’s house I think, but it’s been in our family home all my life. I used to play with it…sorry about some of the damage that I probably caused! It is now a beautiful piece of furniture in my lounge. The video is fabulous too and is a wonderful keepsake to remind me of how this much loved piece of family history has been carefully restored.

Looks great! I use an impact screwdriver to break free stubborn screws. Works like a charm and no damage to the piece. I used one in my last rocking chair project on the channel for two super rusty screws that had been wet forever in the rocker foot. Check it out if you would like to see how it looks in action. Much better! One of the things I really like about your videos is that you will start with cleaning the furniture. A lot of the other guys I've seen don't do any cleaning until 3/4 through the process, if they even do it then. I always want to ask them how they even know what they have without cleaning it. 😂

David, that is a lovely little sewing chest. The walnut stain is just stunning. This reminds me of an antique silverware chest I have that belonged to my great grandmother. Sadly, it needs some serious professional repair. Your Daisy is a sassy lass, I just love her. I have had five cocker spaniels and now have two cavaliers, spaniels are my favorite breed. It’s all a matter of perspective. You were working from the back of the piece, so from your perspective the “back” of what you were looking at is what the viewer sees at the front. Give Daisy a scratch behind the ears for me. She might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but she’s a favorite nonetheless! Your customer has very good taste. The stain brings so much beauty out of the wood.

That's an elegant sewing table and will serve several generations to come. I really appreciate your use of "chapter headings/titles" for a segue between sections of the video.
