God has ingnited this thought in my mind in the recent time repeatedly that the leadership of the body of Christ should have a meeting point for "peer review", comparing of notes and holistic spiritual strategising on kingdom's plan and purpose for a territory. Apostle Arome Osayi's role is an old role but in a new dimension and strategy. He is purposely and strategically sent. He is one voice crying in the wilderness. Even the very anointed and righteous might not understand him. This is where and why we need a rallying point, like Daddy Ogbueli suggested. Every genuine man of God must hear this. The last thing Dr David Ogbueli said about a forum for Apostles and ministers is actually the only statement I agree with Because I believe that's the most organized/effective way to correct doctrinal defaults instead of openly. Christ is the defender of his church, we don't defend by criticizing the church/men of God, We can only correct in love which most of the so called "correction" apostles are lacking. The corrections they feel they are making are used by the unbelievers/atheists against the same church, so what's the need? Driving away people from Christ? Let's even look at Christ our Role model, Asides from open Confrontation from the Pharisees Did Jesus ever criticize the Pharisees/Sadducees on his own volition? He only spoke when he saw that the pharisees were trying to discredit/Misinterpret his teachings, but asides that he focused more on the Gospel and that's what we in this present dispensation should be all about.

It's so easy for most of us to keep saying that this correction should first be done in private and rightly so. However, we must consider that the apostle may likely not have access to every of these guys preaching this these error. Secondly, if he has access to them, they may or may not take whatever correction he may be bringing for the same reason most people are offended by this correction (i.e: who made you the judge) Thirdly, some who may take his private correction may NEVER come back in public to correct their previous erroneous teaching because of the pride of life. How then will the hundreds of persons who have received and are applying these teachings know the true position of Scripture on these matters? THE ENTIRE ESSENCE OF THIS CORRECTIONS IS BASICALLY TO CONTENT FOR OUR FAITH AND TO SAVE THE SOULS OF MEN. For me, this is by far the most important emphasis.

I strongly disagree with this. There's no such thing as ministry of defence in the Body of Christ. We have only the fivefold ministry, which is comprised of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, and their sole purpose is to edify the Body and equip the Saints. There's no special ministry of correcting the Body of Christ anywhere in the Bible. Jesus doesn't call anyone to be referees in His church. He alone reserves the right to correct and address the issues affecting His church (we see such in Revelation chapters 1-3). Any preacher who says he's called to correct the church is a liar and need repentance. God wouldn't anoint anyone to criticize other ministers and create chaos within the church. If it's not edifying or equipping the Saints, then it's not meant for any minister. That's all I have to say for now. #TrueTalkMatters #EvangelistGlobal
