I really enjoy your videos! Thank-you! I'm wondering though, why the corners have 2 chain stitches & the corners on the solid color granny squares have 3 chains? Does it matter? I've done mine with 3 but want to change colors....

Hi - thank you for watching my videos... 2 chains vs 3 chains - if you have 2 chains you have smaller hole, with 3 chains the corner is more visible (because the hole is bigger)... if you are making diagonal granny squares and changing colors, then in the corners you can add one extra chain with either color (your choice), since you will be crocheting over the "ch3 corner" anyway

Can you make this as an ongoing square for one huge square or is this pattern only meant for a smaller size that has to be connected for a blanket lol if that makes any sense

+Brittany Tishuk YOu can keep going - it will turn into a very big square blanket... but if you want to have a rectangle than you need to make corners in such a way that you will have initial DCs (in the first row) differently - instead of 3-3-3-3 (with corners between the stitches) you could do 5-1-5-1 (with corners between the stitches) and then you just continue adding those stitches in the corners which will get your blanket into a shape of a rectangle

+Bronislava Slagle (HandmadeRukodelky) I wanted a video of the rectangular one where it grows to be a blanket
