David Miller has already given evidence in phase two of the inquiry, which looked at the creation and rollout of Horizon, in October 2022.
Emma Price has thanked him for attending to give additional evidence for phases five and six, which look at issues of redress and governance.
A former Post Office chief executive who earned nearly £2 million in pay and bonuses during his tenure will give evidence to the inquiry today.
David Mills, who was previously a banker at HSBC, joined the Post Office in the top role in 2002.
He stepped down at the end of 2005, when Royal Mail axed the role - and his successor Alan Cook was appointed managing director.
Mr Mills’ tenure came in the early stages of the Horizon scandal - which would see more than 900 sub-postmasters wrongfully prosecuted because faulty Horizon software incorrectly recorded shortfalls on their accounts.

18 months minimum apiece in prison and all assets seized, sold and given to those families that suffered. perverting the course of justice in each case.

All these people have proven that it was always someone elses problem £2m for what. He says so,and so was on holiday that is why I was involved,so he was in charge so it is his job? not the person on holiday. No one cleaned up anything always left to someone else. While all this was going on they were putting people in the dock knowing this was going on well before and was still going on but did or say anything.I ask if a person was employed then and did nothing then they are responsible so prison and fines must be given to all of them.£2m what a rip off by so many.Another one I should of but I did'nt is this acceptable good enough .

He may have been paid nearly £2 million pound, not so sure he earned it.

Did any of them place primary importance on staff? Or maybe just their trips on the Thames and so on?

these people were - and continue to be - paid MILLIONS. We're told the reason is to "recruit the best", to "ensure the organisation attracts the highest quality candidates". Likewise, they're paid huge bonuses, based on certain criteria. And yet, it turns out that they're rewarded for overseeing disgraceful behaviour across the system and when push comes to shove, bare absolutely no responsibility AT ALL... multiple heads should roll, otherwise this crap will just carry on without hinderance.

How these dreadfully inept and incompetent people get into these positions is totally beyond me. To be given such a significant report and not even bother to read it shows the level of utter incompetence we are dealing with here.

I feel there's more than just Perverting the course of justice at play here, possibly Perjury & even Malicious Prosecution (i'm NOT a legal expert by the way in any way shape or form)
