It looks like they are making same mistakes up there in Canada. I'm from Spain and lived and work in Vancouver in 1998-1999 and I really loved it. Spain was a third world country compared to how I saw Vancouver. Last year, my wife and I were considering to move there and starting checking the social situation before handling an application. Sadly, we came to the conclusion it's not worth it nowadays. I still love Vancouver and Canada, though.
