Happening in court:
Day 6
Continued Direct Exam Of Plaintiff Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp Testifies Under Cross Exam - Defamation Trial Against Amber Heard
Actor Johnny Depp is suing ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million for defamation in connection with Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she spoke out about being the victim of domestic violence. Heard’s article did not specifically name Depp as her alleged abuser, but according to Depp’s lawsuit, it relied “on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her.” Amber Heard is counter-suing Depp for $100 million.
The defamation trial began Monday in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia, with jury selection completing on the same day. There is a possibility of celebrity witnesses testifying, including James Franco and Elon Musk. Tune in to the Law&Crime Network for daily coverage of this high-profile trial.

That’s what cancel culture is…. Truth is what THEY want it to be and what THEY want to control…. Look at what happens to Taylor Lorenz or Ethan Kline when “truth” they callously throw around to suit their narrative gets flnged back at them. You ever question why liberals are worried and are doing their best to protect amber? Lol they actually wrote a hit piece about JD just a few hours ago narrating that “he has sunk to a new low” They have an agenda… AH is ruining that narrative for their mee too movement… they don’t care what truth is, and they don’t care what character they need to assassinate. This goes for regular people not just holywood elites like Johnny depo

I am amazed about that too - especially for his initial few days. Now I realize that the house Depp was staying in was very small. Not knowing what other buildings were available, it would have been better if they were in a larger building with adjoining rooms. I take it that Amber was probably very forceful about it (or charming) but she should not have been allowed to have her way in this instance. If Depp has truly detoxed, I would credit his determination more than the competency of the doctor/nurse.

Watching this after Amber’s testimony - the Amber we see here vs the Amber who took the stand are two very, very different individuals. Why are these recollections only evoking her pain and her trauma when she’s on the stand, while she manages to remain deadpan, expressionless while Johnny recalls those same events that allegedly cause her panic attacks? The stark difference in her demeanor is extremely telling & I hope the jury sees this for what it is - just another role she’s playing.

I have bpd and the way he is describing the circular argument with her is exactly as I was sadly engaging in at my sickest. I suppose he could have read a bunch of bpd material to lend him credibility but, man. I too also used to go crazy if my partner didn’t want to go to bed at the same time as me, taking it as a rejection. The things he’s saying are just giving me chills because they remind me so much of the way I used to be pre treatment. People actually described arguments with me as a never ending and exhausting circle. I also used to forget the awful things I would say, or hear them differently. I still do sometimes. I’m not ok and I quit trying relationships in 2010 as I just can’t function in one. I don’t want to feel the borderline’s relationship pain but I also never want to do this to another person again.

The fact that you’re able to see and admit you have a problem means you’re doing better than a lot of people with BPD. Part of the disorder is having the inability to recognize you have a problem, so I’m proud of you even though I don’t know you. Getting treatment with BPD is especially difficult since you have to face the worst things about yourself while struggling to accept them. I know someone with BPD that makes her ex and their children’s lives miserable (as well as mine). Her ex did his best to escape, but she still won’t let him years later. She doesn’t even know she has a problem and also has narcissistic traits that keep feeding into the issue. However, knowing that someone with BPD is capable of change gives me hope. As a mental health nurse the fact that she tried to time his withdrawals, like I get it we all know like 4 hours between pain meds ect ect. But from what was said it wasn’t like he just had the meds. Withdrawal can’t be timed and it’s incredibly dangerous to withhold medication you’ve already been commenced on to help. It could make it so much worse and increase the pain or even worse double the withdrawal. 2. The speculation part - I don’t think she was worried about times he was meant to have them. I think she knew he was in pain and she wanted him to feel it. She wanted that control over your pain stops when I decide. I can’t obviously say one way or another not knowing her personally or any of her true symptoms or behaviours but she definitely has some mental health concerns in there.

Listening to JD, has bought me to tears. This man has suffered so much. He tried so hard to be a good man, and in return she leeched free palace's for her family and friends to live in. She has everything paid for, for herself and family and friends. then she tortures JD, by drinking in front of him, by causing tension and alarm when he is trying to withdraw, then finally by torturing him by witholding medication. I think she actually enjoyed watching him suffer. She sits showing zero emotion in court, she looks to me to be desperately trying to get him to look at her. Her face is like stone. How could anyone love that. I really worry for her child. The child she had someone else carry and give birth too, (an essential part of motherhood and bonding). I dont know if she could not carry a child, but I think AH just didnt want to ruin her figure. This woman is seriously not right.

Johnny standing up for himself my favorite thing. He really did lose a lot of major roles due to Amber's false allegations, he lost his role as Captain Jack Sparrow and also his role as Gellert Grindelwald in HP series and yes that's a lot. It's so nice listening to him talking all his feelings and life events. He has a soothing voice and he is very calm, very articulated and he has proofs that he is innocent. If he is not winning the case then I will not believe in justice ever again.

Fun fact over sharing and over explaining are trauma responses to feeling unheard, misunderstood, belittled, basically being treated like a child or made to feel significantly unimportant by the ones you love. So you over explain and over share bc you aren’t used to being able to talk freely without extreme judgment. At least that’s why my therapist told me why I do it. 🤷‍♀️

I hope at the very least that he knows that the general public for the most part has his side. I know that can feel like nothing, especially when you've lost so many contacts and friends from his career. But it seems like the vast majority understands that it was all lies and we do not blame him at all. Sadly defamation suits are just bandaids to situations like these. But his fans understand that Amber's lies were in fact lies.

A month has passed and we know that Johnny won. But I'm still in disbelief for all this horrible nightmare that he endured and unfortunately this was not a Wes Craven's movie. Even the master couldn't never ever imagine something like this. She was perversely jealous, because she believed John was her property and it's crystal clear that she suffers from a severe abandonment syndrome. What shocks me the most is her constant expressionless face: she doesn't show contempt, sadness, hatred, or sorrow and she does this for hours. How could possibly one do this without being a sort of robot? Or just without being an emotionless psycopath. Even if her lawyers intstructed her to appear sad, she's a really bad actress, because there is nothing on her face. What is that? Botox maybe? Unbelievable. I believe this case will be studied by psychologists and behavioural experts, as it provides a lot to think about

As a domestic violence survivor…it breaks my heart listening to his inner turmoil and utter confusion still regarding her actions and choices. I left my abuser in Sept and it’s scary to think even years later, how affected he still is by what happened to him and how much of a fight to recovery I have ahead. I kept telling my abuser “I’m not your enemy”. It’s as if they despise you and are just so angry you woke up that day, yet they never leave. Listening to what she did to him, it’s like every abuser has an instruction manual they all follow, they are all the same. For her to claim she is any kind of victim, to continue to try to destroy him even after they ended, to sit there in court still in defense of her actions…is beyond disgusting. He is not just speaking for himself, he is speaking for us all…❤️
