Was Vasquez nasty? Or was she just pointing out obvious facts. Those pictures were factual and damming of Heard's outrageous lies and people still cling to the idea they were true and that her make-up and ice explanation is plausible. Vasquez was clinical but not nasty, the awkwardness wax created by Heard refusing to accept she has been caught out in an obvious lie

If she had not been lying & had she truly been a victim of SA, that would have been a truly brutal cross examination! It’s not just about establishing the facts, it’s about the tone of voice they use, the speed they throw questions & the intent to tear someone apart who may have suffered a horrific assault. Imagine those questions being thrown at your mum, partner, sister or daughter. I was horrified hearing that until I realised who she was & heard how the evidence did not match her story.

@@sylviaking8866....That is not at all why he was sued.....just because he is far right. He was sued and lost because for years he made the claim to his viewers that the Sandy Hook school massacre wasn't real and that there were child actors used to portray the victims. He was on recording telling other people that he knew that wasn't true but his viewers " are it up" and it led to high ratings and he was making a lot of money by lying. The trauma he put all those families of those murdered children was despicable. And he was caught in lie after lie and he also illegally tried to hide assets before filing bankruptcy. Educate yourself before you speak of something you know nothing about. As it emerged at trial this had nothing to do with politics. 7 of the child victims had both parents as registered Republicans. The fact is he continued to spread a lie that he himself knew was a lie after he had been warned to stop and he continued to do so to enrich himself as far right Republicans are absolutely the stupidest, most easily manipulated group of people on earth and they are all suckers for conspiracy theories.

Excellent assortment of clips. It could have even had an alternate title: “cringiest cross-examination moments” because months -or even years- later, I’m still cringing as I watch some of those defendants (ex Amber Heard) continue to lie, hopelessly and blatantly, on the stand for all to see. Honestly makes me seize up, from second hand embarrassment.

Ooooo nothing makes my blood boil like that first one. I know it’s a Constitutional issue but I just really don’t feel that people representing themselves should be allowed to directly cross-examine the people they’re accused of victimizing. The person on the stand should at the bare minimum have the option of testifying remotely. I doubt it’s as common an issue as it seems, but this to me is even worse than Darrell Brooks and that other guy that crossed his own son after killing the rest of the family. To do something that horrific to someone then insist on taking it to trial and representing yourself because you want to gaslight and retraumatize them one last time…

Well, I would say Sanderson is now infamous, not famous. Paltrow's lawyer Owen is now famous. Loved his mild mannered voice, his air of a disappointed parent questioning a naughty child. Not loud and aggressive, just unpacking the facts and driving home his point.

I find the blue on Amber's arm weird, it looks more like foundation! and I'm sorry for her but facial injuries can't be covered with makeup! These are traces that remain for more than 15 days, I have seen enough women beaten by alcoholic husbands!! don't forget, she's an actress, even if she's not an excellent actress, she's still an actress, she learned makeup or posture techniques to appear more of a victim!! I don't trust him at all, and Johnny Depp was with a French actress, that went quite well!!

The issue isn't just the bruising and swelling that would have happened. When someone wears chunky rings like that, not only will bones break, but soft tissue and muscle will be torn, jaggedly, skin would be ripped off in chunks. Reconstructive surgery would be required. You don't take multiple blows to the face from someone with chunky rings, ice it, put makeup on and have your picture taken the next day. The gaslighting is off the charts here, and her story also does not stand up to basic reason.
