I'm glad that he got his moment to be able to present his case that he and his team spent thousands of hours preparing. This is like wizard of Oz, and the curtain has been pulled back on MM. You don't have a right to negotiate what lawful orders you want to obey on the side of the road. You have the right to challenge those orders later in a court of law. If you don't agree to those terms, then don't apply for a drivers license or operate a motor vehicle on public roads. Your choice.

Police officers is a line of work where, you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. They're the ones that will always encounter surprises and they have to make quick decisions to stop threats or deal what is in front of them. I don't even understand how this trooper was charged with murder in the first place and they have to go to court to fight for his life. Why would anyone in their right mind want to be a police officer in this day and age anyways is beyond me. I have 2 brothers who are in Minnesota Law enforcement and I always tell them to becareful everytime they go out. The flat truth about this stop was, This was a criminal that didn't want to be taken in and so he made a decision to run, and that decision puts all of those state trooper's life in danger, and YET SOMEONE HAS THE BALLS TO TRY TO CHARGE THIS TROOPER. I wonder what society would be like without police officers?????? Minnesota doesn't back the blue line, they back Criminals.

I’ll say it as I said when I heard she was filling charges against him, she was hoping for a trial but was satisfied with f’ing up his life as long as she could. I’m fine with the chaos of all LE stopped policing for a period of time until the public wakes up and realizes they need the cops. Then when they realize it, wait a few more months. We protect ourselves and want rely on anyone to do it but we still need LE.

Cobb asked politely for the legal reason for him to step out of his car but Seide NEVER gave a reason! Cobb even straight up asked if there is a warrant and Seide said “NO”! These cops violated Cobbs due process and illegal search rights. Why is this attorney bragging about a case that didn’t go to trial? He will lose the civil suit

Cobb was a convicted felon. He had a gun. He knew it was a trip to the big house because of it. As a prohibited person, he likely did not have right to not be searched. At 33:00 he knew he was going to be arrested when he got out.

Did you listen to the full video? It was explained why they do not say there is a warrant there someone before they are out of a vehicle and in control of the situation. To do so increases the probability the person would attempt to flee.

The last thing you want to do is inform an individual of a warrant while they aren't physically controlled. Fight or flight is often the result.
