Because he loves what he does more than anything .. 4REAL can't stress enough how detrimental that is.. That's Key .. People think they wont have ANY problems being mentally pressed in any way and weight while on the work place but that couldn't be more incorrect . Even if it seems like it has no effect on you it builds slowly and once it passes occupying a good % of your brain it escalates real quick and becomes a seriously dangerous health and/or mental problem very, very quickly.. All of the sudden you find yourself on the job for two years and you can already noticeably tell there's a fast growing sensation in your chest that's gonna make your head explode in the upcoming month or so. Slowly you start to worry and you can't even recognize it comes from your work environment and instead of recognizing there's something wrong and correcting it you think its a matter of sucking it up and being a professional, this is just what you have to do because its hard work, and you absolutely are a hard working man/woman, otherwise how did you even manage to get this far? right? Which couldn't be further from the truth and reality.. You have to, the very least like and / or learn to love what you do for a living or it could possibly kill or harm you irreversibly, how long it's gonna take depends entirely on you, your body, mental health, any existing traumas etc.. It might never happen some brains work nothing alike others who organically are exactly and completely the same.. Even worse we know so little about it it's basically nothing, just crasy, literally makes me feel insane how we made it this far, and we're not doing that great tbh as a specie.. Took us god knows how many billions, trillions, countles of years so we can be what we are today.. Real Shame

I don't think it's about filler episodes, those can be interesting if character development happens in them. In the first 20 seconds "Stone" called out the interviewer for shilling. It encapsulates why South Park still resonates. With that said I'd be interested to hear "Parkers" perspective.

Hard to imagine I was 15 when Southpark started. Really seems more recent than that. I remember the first couple episodes would play on repeat all the time until they made new content. Like, all the time. I saw the same episode like 20 times.

I just feel like it's a bitttt disingenuous for a TV show creator to not watch any TV and be mad when a show wastes his time.. South Park is great, but it's not like there aren't episodes that felt like I wasted my time.

I feel like it was more of a comment on how alot of shows now will have an awesome start, and then as soon as it gets a little success the quality plummets into the ground almost immediately
@lampad4549Ай бұрын
@@AlexDelarge1990not really true for nowadays thats just every show ever that has existed its very rare a show gets better with each season, its a nice simple talking point to believe that success ruins a shows quality but reality is far more complicated. Its as simplistic to say that show creates such high expectations in its audience that its impossible for future seasons to meet it. Plus you are not even disputing what the original comment is saying how it seems rich for him to complain about show wasting his time when he should be self aware enough as a show creator to realize his show has had that same effect.

20,000 people per week at $25 per person, for 52 weeks, is $26M per year of revenue. Subtract their overhead to figure out their profit. They could definitely pay off their debts eventually at that rate.

South Park, to me, is the greatest comedy ever (in my life) and to have Matt Stone do a live interview is so awesome and dude just asked the most surface level shiz. Any time it started to gain momentum or Matt would start vibin, dude would just never reciprocate then ask another question we’ve heard before lol … I mean I watched it all so it wasn’t ruined but come on, this could’ve been gold
