Putin will never allow NATO to be so close to Russia's border. That's what this Ukraine thing is all about. Zelensky wants to join NATO. If that ever were to happen it would mean WWIII. NATO and the U.S. in particular can't do a thing about it. That's if they don't want a war with Russia. It's like the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 when Russia installed nuclear missiles so close to the U.S. The hell that was going to be tolerated. Today's Putin is yesterday's Kennedy. Russia is justified and will have their way. This invasion is practically over with. Putin hopefully will show mercy to Zelensky.

I think Maks can do far more here in the USA by verbalizing what he saw and experienced, raising money for humanitarian supplies from DWTS fans, and organizing others in the entertainment field to sponsor housing and food for refugees. As one man with one gun over there his abilities to make a difference would be very limited. None of us know how we would act until we are in that same situation. He probably would place his friends at a greater risk for harm if they were seen/captured together because the Russians hate anything/anyone affiliated with the USA more than they hate the Ukraines.
