Hey hon, the elmers glue a great idea! That really seals it good! I was using a cinamon paste. That way i could repot quickly. The ointment made a water proof seal so i could pot up right away. No waiting on it to dry. 😊

Once summer officially starts, I cut my spikes. I haven’t sealed the stems but will start doing that now. Do you soak your scissors for 30 minutes between plant? Thanks for this video.

@@maraleelachovsky4702 glue seals the cut so that germs or bugs don't have a point of entry till it forms a callous. Just an ounce of prevention. 😇 Have a great day! 🌸

What is a complex phal?

@@nanci357 it's a Phal you typically find in a grocery store or garden center. They have the large, cascading flower spikes. Not a species or novelty Phal.
