I literally had my hubby help me take down my sew in 2 days ago. I’ve taught him well over the past 17 year of marriage. I didn’t even have to give instructions. I just called him for help and he did it in 15 minutes. Then took the braids down. Team work lol. I’m 37 and enjoy your videos. ♒️ gang gang

As we all have since the panoramic, I’ve been seeing mini tutorials on these braiding hacks and the way you did yours is the same way this one girl was doing hers in a video I saw awhile back that gave me so much confidence to finally try it out… this must be another sign for me to give it a go 🙌🏾😭

You did an amazing job. Just FYI when you part your hair, it’s best to use “the brick pattern” that way it looks fuller. I can’t braid my own hair for shit. I used to but stopped years ago so now I have to relearn it.

I tried to do small knotless on myself for my first braiding attempt on my self and let’s just say that wasn’t the smartest decision because I made my sister spend all that time parting just to put it in a slick back after two failed braids and zero patience 🚶🏽♀️

Lol i spent 3 hours trying to do the straw method on the braiding hair for butterfly locs, i got up to perfecting the parts and putting rubberbands. I tried the first loc and gave up…. Later realised i couldve turned it into a braid still. End result high bun🥲

You’re the only ones person I’ve watched that braids they’re hair from the side. I’m not quite experienced enough to braid from the back but no one else was showing how to do it with your hands facing a different direction. I'm a Quarantine braider as well. I found a talent I probably wouldn't have tapped into if it wasn't for covid. Hell I'm my families barber now as well (lol) and I love it!! I always shied away form even trying the knotless feed in method as many that I had seen appeared very technical. It's finally clicked with your video on my first try. AMAZING, thank you!!! I love these braids on you! You look lovely and I love the length on you. You Rocked these. I did the same braiding technique when I went as Dorothy for a contest, it was only two braids. Good job mama! This inspires me. I’ve been doing cornrows since I was 8 years old. I’ve been doing single braids not too long after that I’m completely self taught. While I don’t braid often on others anymore (quit hair for corporate) I still do my own hair but I still haven’t gotten knotless and feed in braids down pact. So I will definitely try (again) this on my next hairstyle.

Oh, and I agree that the Shine Jam wasn’t the greatest to use because it was WAY to greasy and slippery..the braids kept sliding down…so I used edge control instead and it was the best idea
