As far as I know, to take care of your brushes when using them, you shouldn't load all the bristles with paint, keeping at least half way so it doesn't go up to the ferule, if it does, wash it before it dries. Based on your brushing, I would even suggest you to try larger brushes, so you can use just the tip of them and leave tiny brushes for tiny highlight jobs. A size 4 or even 6 could work for you and you wouldn't feel like you need to dip the brush so deep in paint to do your stuff 😅. I love your videos by the way, thanks for uploading!

It’s great that a community can come together for the betterment of the hobby. I (and many others) suggested the coloured base when we watched your last video. It’s great that so many minds can add their own hints and tips. I’m actually working on something big for the hobby sphere that will use this concept. Many minds solving the same problems.

There's definitely a sweet spot where you could potentially splodge the ink into the tray in a more controlled manner and then swill a little less to create the more blotchy patterns of realistic military camo - but this looked pretty convincing in parts.

I really want to try this out on some Imperial Knight armour panels.

I was thinking trying beige primer might be good while watching the first one, those turned out looking excellent!!! The single color does look good, but I’d be really curious to see what the black, clear, green, and yellow together would look like over colored primer, too! Nicely done!!!

Well done! I am really enjoying the evolution of your hydro dipping process. I would love to see the results for: Base coat color, full coverage contrast paint, varnish to hold down contrast, then dip and paint details. Cheers and thank you for all of the great content!

That is a really cool idea! Thanks for sharing. It looks absolutely stellar. Especially coming up with the idea to use it for a tank. CUDOS MATE! I wonder how it would look like with brown/green/black, etc. for woodland camos. Man, such great content! It proves that you can deliver quality from anywhere, even being it a simple desk!

Hi man, this technique is cool, why don't you try some ordinary camo colour like green and brown for tanks.

Nice job. Gives a much better tiger-stripe camo effect.

That would be good for doing a marbleor lava effect on minis and terrain or oozy type miniatures.

I liked the idea to use color primers as a base coat I imagine basing brown and deep the miniatures dark green and light green for a forest camo

when doing hydro dipping foils that stuff usually needs a preperation spray. Please wear proper protection then as it can seriously mess up your lungs. and you only have one of those ^^ thanks for your videos on dipping will try them for some tanks later :-)

Yoooo, that first scheme with the tiger stripes kinda reminds me to Turanic Raiders from Homeworld

Marble and lava, hmm. Maybe some different directions or different shades, but otherwise really cool ideas!

Camo always seems like a tricky thing in a hobby where 'readability' is something to strive for but this seems to straddle the line quite nicely? I wonder if you could use that clear ink to get some realistic camo? Light tan primer, green + clear, then light brown + clear, then dark brown + clear?

This came out pretty neat actually. I wonder how it would look with red as a main color.

Thanks for showing us. I am not too fond of the look honestly. The boat came out much better.

I dunno... this contrasts poorly and it destroys the silhouhette making it appear like a block. Despite the paint being quite thin, it destroys the entire outline/detail of the model by being too uniform across the model.

Tbf, destroying silhouettes is the point of camo

okay, I have commented a few times that if your video on YT is sponsored it needs to be clearly labelled as such. So many of yours are not. Rather than keep complaining, I'll just unsub.
