OMG I love this. I've just been given a chest to steampunk I was a bit nervous about it but now I've seen you video you have given me some confidence thank you. The chest is 1.8 meters long it's huge but has a cushion that he wants to keep right down the middle of the lid leaving an edge around it. Thank you. The stencil was from Temu or Amazon and I’m using Artisan paint structure paste called Emboss

The paint has an inbuilt sealer and the waxes don’t need sealing

When I decoupage and seal with oil based varnish and do some chalk paint touch ups then it is really visible unless I seal it again.But often the colors get smudged.Even with spray varnish.... So with the paints you use doesn't show the touch ups on the paper?wow if that's the case I should get rid of the chalk paint...Thank you!

@@margaretn5068 chalk paint will always need to be sealed again as it dries matte. I’m using mineral paints that have an inbuilt sealer but I usually seal again after I’ve painted

Structure paste is a thick paste and when you apply it over a stencil it creates a raised /embossed image that dries hard.

Your videos are FABULOUS - I really enjoy how skilled you are at blending, and appreciate all the tips you share about the process. However, I find your music choices on your videos to be very disruptive and distracting, given how repetitive they are - they really take my focus away from what you're saying and doing. I don't know if I can watch more, as much as I adore your creativity and skills.

You should watch your videos before you post them. I couldn't watch & had to turn it off because of the too loud obnoxious music was hard to listen to what you were saying. Like listening to 2 radio stations playing different music at the same time. Just awful.
