@@LeyLocs ive been practicing on my mannequin using all of ur techniques and I’m confident in it now. I have my first install with extensions coming up. The 1st person that locked her with extensions just braided the hair in from the root. No interlocking at all and she’s only about a month and a half out and they have slipped BAD. Keep helping us girlies out here! We appreciate it!

Hey! So I would say my micro locs are a larger size. Smaller than pencil size but not super small. I didn’t understand your other question

I'm curious to know more about how the extensions themselves lock up. Would an old pack of extension hair eventually lock into one whole thing if left alone long enough? How to ensure the loc is the right thickness to match the hair? Will the extension hair locking process be interrupted by relaxed hair mixed into it?

Idk about the old pack of bundle hair. I go through mine pretty quickly. Loc part ratio isn’t an exact science, I just choose from experience and as the natural hair locs I replace any that’s too big or small. The extensions loc with the relaxed hair intertwined in it. After a few months some relaxed hair may stick out and can be cut from the extensions

About 180 Locs. Probably 20 hours over a few days

What is the care for this style. Do you do regular shampoo and conditioner and spray water every other night for hydration … how did care work for this and I’d love to get this done beautiful❤👍🏾

They can be treated like regular Locs! With moisture or none at all!

Depends on how hard the loc extension are. If they are too hard to have the interlock needle go through, no. If they are soft, yes

@@dashonabell7214 you can continue with any rotation. I do whatever rotation that will make sure at the end I will be going from top to bottom so it’s flat

It’s really pretty but I don’t understand … I thought there was a difference between locs and braids. This looks like the old school micro braids. I love this as an option, but as someone who had locs, the old school way - big chop, etc etc, this looks like micro braids with a lil twist so they will loc. I really like it though 😊

They’re interlocks so not braids but it does have a pattern similar to braids that fades after the hair Locs
