Celebrate the history of a Tri-State landmark all of us hold dear. The 43-minute documentary tells the story of Union Terminal from its rise as a railroad station, fall as a shopping mall and vacant "white elephant" to its reopening as the Cincinnati Museum Center and $224 million restoration.

This is the best reason to take your children to the Terminal today. There must always be someone to save the Terminal for generations to come. So glad that my Dad, a WWIIA vet, lived long enough to enjoy the Museum experience with me.

Great work guys! I used to visit the Union Terminal all the time when I was little. Too many great memories there to count. So happy it is being preserved

Wonderful. I appreciate what the people of Cincinnati did for voting with their wallets to save the terminal. Thank you!

my grandfather used to take me to the museum all the time as a kid, the i-max theater, the children's museum and as i got older the other ones. i also loved trains so i had the chance every once and a while to visit the railroad tower. i cant remember if it was tower a or b but, it was only open on Sundays i think and had a great view of the railroad yard. i have always wanted to take an amtrack out of there. im so glad that levy passed to restore it. How could you destroy such a beautiful historical building?

Said it since I first saw it, in one of the mystery phases of it's life in the early 80s..remnants of Oz winding down, and thankfully I'll be saying it to the very last. When simply looking at a building illicits that sort of response, without even touching its living history and scares. It's a beauty that has texture and connection, one that makes a city turn it from a wonderful old place they're scared they won't be able to save..into that wonderful old place they refused to let go. The terminal is the most marvelously aesthetic building that there is for me personally, so thank goodness Cincy just couldn't live without it! 💖💯

Such an icon. To think it was almost demolished or turned into a mall. I'm glad the City of Cincinnati FINALLY decided to give this building the attention it deserved. It's such a beautiful time piece of Cincinnati history.

It's a shame that something so beautiful, so unique is such a white elephant. It cannot go. God bless Cincy for holding onto her greatest architectural treasure. You even saved the fountain! There is nothing else from that era quite like it anywhere. Such optimism.

This is a masterpiece of a documentary about Cincinnati Union Terminal (CUT) and its subsequent reincarnation. Thanks so much for sharing!

I stand by my statement when I say in the event of an apocalypse / last man on Earth scenario I would live at the Union terminal. This building is such a remarkable wonderful thing to have in my city! I hope this place stays open for hundreds of years

Way back in the 1970s I remember my family drove down to Cincinnati for some reason or other and somehow along the way stopped at Union Terminal to explore the building. My father, as an eighteen-year-old from upstate New York, had come through Union Terminal when he was drafted into the Navy during WWII. He was quite excited to be back all those years later to seeing the place again.

Wonderful. I got to visit Cincinnati from New York City, on Amtrak's Cardinal and was blown away... I didn't expect such a thing be so magnificent. They forgot to mention trains were brought back into serving the Cincinnati Union Terminal, since they never should have left in the first place. Hopefully they bring back more trains into it, including some more frequent services. Too much traffic and too many dumb folks that shouldn't be driving these days.

Great story. Loved that they saved the building. But, that documentary - reusing the same shots over and over and over. And, the soundtrack! Not in love with that soundtrack. So intrusive. This is a great overview but, lacks in any real detail. Would love to see this again in a documentary series. Apple's series on amazing buildings or, the Grand Designs series on Netflix.
