As a person who lives in Upstate,NY I do say that he is being more informative than the Federal level BUT as usual, he is all about the City. No one bothers to ask how all of this is being paid for. Our taxes in a rural community are astronomical. That is why most upstaters are fleeing. We don't need him in the White house unless you like the buy now, figure out how to pay later attitude. I am thankful for his updates but know that the other shoe will fall.

Something needs to be done about the Kafkaesque situation with applying for PUA unemployment benefits at NYS Labor. The online system crashes repeatedly then no one picks up the phone. Millions of us can't apply and are running out of money for food!!

Remember, the curve is a reflection of how much everyone is helping eliminate this. Once the curve goes to zero, and we rapidly produce treatments like convalescent antibodies, and antivirals (i.e. remdesivir). Then we can all begin to carefully exchange droplets again; and before you know it, we'll be celebrating with our brave hcp's over beers, and reflect on how we all came together to get this done. I lived in FLUSHINGS Queens NYC 2016-2019 🤮not 100% by my choice or say: desire I speak from experience: too many live there 😳beyond imagination 🙄 (Measles outbreak 2018/19 NYC was interesting) That got 🧹 swept under the rug ... 10,000 people per square mile & +22 million people living in Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn (I looked up the numbers) allegedly not counting illegal immigrants living off the grid there 10-20 people crammed in one home every where there ! In Certain parts of NYC ! I know - I witnessed it! People living in old moldy falling apart -ridiculously expensive homes there What did they expect? 🤔 2 weeks ago NYC was on news showing too many people walking around in parks & streets thinking this is a vacation! Mass selfishness I’m so beyond grateful that I left NYC 2019! I hated living there from day one 2016! 🤮 Common sense went out the window in USA 🇺🇸 long ago The hospital administration knew in December & January that this virus “could be” huge & deadly and now blame US government & The President 🇺🇸 for their lack of supplies now NYC waited until the last minute to shut down schools, buses & subways & streets I ve been randomly curiously watching the news since January & February & March and saw many cities & states & many people not taking Lockdown seriously 🧘🏻‍♂️

I did the research yesterday: NYC area: Approximately 22+ million plus people live in QUEENS, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn (Approximately 10,000+ people live in these areas per square mile) I lived in Flushings, Queens by LaGuardia airport 2016-2019- meaning I speak from experience. My bf’s mother works at FLUSHINGS Presbyterian hospital 492 beds for “25” years now! === NYC areas: Cramped buses, subways, streets packed, huge mold problems everywhere including in the old falling apart expensive homes; huge rat problem; trash all over the streets on trash days; too many cars & pollution; including all the illegal immigrants-people hiding there off the grid; and homeless people all over the streets; It’s beyond mind blowing there I watched the news in March - 2020-even after New York officials waited until last minute to shut down schools, subways and buses - people were still acting as If “mandated LOCKDOWN was a ‘vacation’ to go walking streets & parks -was on news” === 30 days ago =March 7 2020 - 🇺🇸 USA DID NOT take Covid19 seriously 2 weeks ago - people still were not taking virus seriously - I saw with my own eyes 👀 What do people expect?
