I'm getting 48-49 second lap times on the stopwatch here on my laptop. That's about how fast they were running in 2001's Daytona 500 on old tires in a pack. I'd say this is working out better than I thought it would overall. From the looks of this, there seems to be a lot of shuffling around and lead changes, drivers getting runs, falling back, coming back through the field again. I like it. Seeing videos like this reminds me of the good ol NASCAR Preseason Thunder days!

Bristol and Martinsville are short tracks, about .5 a mile long but good rough racing. Nascar has added more road courses which are fun to watch, (reminds me alot of v8 supercar racing in Australia.)
