WATCH: Rainy Weekend Ahead, Stormy Sunday, Severe Storm Threats in North Carolina

Rainy & Stormy Weekend Ahead Chilly temperatures will warm overnight from the upper 30s into the 40s by morning. Temperatures will eventually warm into the 50s late Saturday as winds become southerly. Milder 60s return Sunday. A Slight Risk of Severe storms is expected on Sunday afternoon for the Piedmont Triad toward the mountains. The threat for severe storms begins after 2 p.m. and may last through 8 p.m. in the Eastern Triad.
