Truth must be told,both Farotimi and Afe Babalola are seasoned legal practitioners in their categories. I think Farotimi's claims in the book should be look into,either it's false or otherwise,then court should decide. As an Ekiti man,I won't take any side,let Nigerians know who is actually right among the duo.

Serves Dele Farotimi right. Sebi e won die on top of Liegeria. The country where they only arrest those who say the truth but leave bokoharam, kidnappers terrorists, bandits robbers thieves and looters to rome about the country, occupy honourable possitions and address them as honourables instead of dishonorables. The only even only country that i know that gives governors immunity while in office, allow them to embezzle as much as they want so as to have enough fund to bribe themselves out and be discharged of all charges. God is watching no sinner will go unpunished.

Why deny him bail? This may be lending credence to the matter in his controversial publication. This is not a murder case or treasonable felony trial. N50m bail bond is not a joke. This is going to set an unhealthy precedent, I am afraid. Dele Farotimi cannot run away, so why deny him bail? Normally, this would be sub judice😮😢 but any people are curious about the procedure being applied in this criminal libel and slander case?

Where is his accuser? The falanas did not appear against VDM. Is it part of the Nigerian constitution for the richer and more powerful to absent from court during court hearing? Or it's a further vindication of Dele's book "Nigeria and it's criminal justice system"
