Hid money, indeed. And would be able to stash cash in offshore tax havens. He doesn't even work anymore, he lives on the cash he made when he sold his business. Likely in a tax sheltered income trust that he and his lawyer set up if he was smart. That any Republican is working class or cares about the working class is pretty rich.

Teamsters just got all facilities employees union AND non union, $20/hr minimum wage from $15.65/hr at the university of Minnesota with backpay to June of last year when our prior contract expired, that was a $3000 check into my bank account, I'm more financially secure now and I'm just a janitor. this is real leadership, this is how we take back the middle class. all for a $16 union due per pay period

The correct term for the union guy to ask the senator: total compensation - as Hayes points out, the salary is never the whole story when it comes to CEOs and the like. That was also Trumps trick as president.... the GOP all make their money other ways legal or not.

There should be a higher level of respect demanded for the people who agree to come testify before a Congressional committee. This is utterly and completely embarrassing for our elected representatives to act like petulant toddlers when they don't get their way. Just keeps making us look like a banana republic. The image didn't leave when the orange clown got fired like I hoped it would.
@VoodooV1 Жыл бұрын
as soon as he started with "I'm not against unions, I have friends in unions" you knew right away that everything he would say after that would be anti union. It's the same thing as "I'm not racist, I have a black friend!"

My stepfather was a Teamster Driver, as a kid, thanks to his insurance, I was able to receive the medical and dental care that we couldn't afford prior, his job was protected at least twice that I know of. And his retirement benifits were great. In fact when he passed, my mom ended up selling everything of value they had, including her wedding ring to make ends meet, (Unfortunately they had both lost all the money they had invested during that big stock market crash).
