Growing up in South Texas you might have heard the legend of “La Llorona,” a deceased woman in search of her missing children.
Similar to the legend, Central Texas has its own version at Woman Hollering Creek.
Producers Joy Presley and Carlos Hernandez join Max Massey and Alamo City Ghost Tours in search of the woman who lurks around the area. Find out what they encountered during their visit.

In my country there is a story of a ghost of a pregnant woman that died trying to give birth to her child. She died with her child. She haunts houses in forests l. They say that if you hear a cat (sometimes crying) at night don't go out because that is her ghost if the sound is loud that means it is far away if she's close it's the opposite.

I love talking about Duendes and la llorona...Unfortunately, I haven't personally experienced anything paranormal out there. My cousin's brother recorded la llorrona hollering.... In all seriousness she or whatever it is actually exists. I'm not Bullshitting when I tell you this. I was drinking with my cousins in Mexico one night just relaxing it was close to 1 am. You started to hear crying, but it was distant. I know for a fact it wasn't a random person because it's just a forest/desert in the direction it was coming from. It was pitch black and I didn't sleep that night. Interestingly enough I told my friend who lives here in the states about what happened and she said that she heard crying one night in Mexico while on vacation.

Obviously you have never encountered the paranormal. I was a sceptic most of my life as well. That is until I witnessed a couple of things with no logical explanation. I do not claim to know exactly what causes such phenomena. Just that humans have a tendency to think that we have things all figured out when in fact we are not even crawling, in relation to time itself. Just my opinion. Stay safe.

First of all, as a long time investigator and a techie person, the 2 Ghost Meter Pros are nothing more than $30 devices that detect positive or negative energy-in theory. The Ovilus is a good tool if you have other things like emf meters, paranormal pucks or similar things the correspond. Never just use 1 thing. 80% of the time an Ovilius puts out words unrelated. Video and especially IR/full spectrum, thermal and audio recorders are better because they can be analyzed and there's software from Adobe than can be used to prove an EVP. If you want to go somewhere where I know you'll find things, let me know. Its well known and I have been there many times. 👍

Couple years back in 2007-09 in Los Angeles California 👀🤔🙄 I heard heavy chains drag with a loud Train sound from afar in Southgate and so did my parents who live in Lynwood😭😪 the closer the sounds got the stronger my dogs and the whole neighborhood dogs began wailing. It was the creepiest thing i have ever felt in my life. When the train noise and chains came through my house, my skin crawled. My house walls cracked. My body felt a heavyness. I stepped outside to see where the heck was this train or if it was an airplane from the sky something to acknowledge that what i was hearing was not my imagination deceiving me. The next day it came out on the news and on the radio of people complaining about the same thing. Pretty much all of south LA heard it and northern parts of Mexico. They called it a passage of witches🙄😒 I was just glad i wasn't crazy😆!

You might be right and I wished you were right in my own experience! Many years ago as a child, I heard a howling cry in the middle of the night. I was sleeping and I woke up to the impression that someone was approaching my bed. As I woke up, whatever was nearing my bed let out a cry, the sound drift away from my room to the garden just outside my window. When the sound go to the garden my dogs started howling and it all became one cry carried away by the wind. Noone else from my family experience it that night. I will never know what it was... Maybe just a nightmare, but still to this day I remember clearly the horror. The house was of a hacienda style with big walls circling the property and a big count yard in the middle. It would had been impossible to a wild animal to come into the garden without disturbing my dogs that all of the sudden where sad and mournfully howling. The experience was so real, but did not have any explanation. My reason tells me that my dogs should be barking and on guard to attack whatever it was, instead they seem to be sad like mourning something. Whatever it is, it manifests only to certain people or it might be that some individuals are more sensitive that others... But is truly scary and unreal.

Next my little girl keeps talking to somebody out the window. We thought it’s a kids thing. Third, my little boy says he needs to pee. So i told him to go to the toilet. He said he can’t because there’s a man in there. Fast forward three years later left the house over two years, we found out that the last person who lived there committed suicide because of a mountain of debt. Real estate fellow did not disclose that. We found out during a carpool and one of the passenger told us when we passed the house. He lives in the neighborhood for ten years. Not really a believer of this stuff but that was all strange.

Guys the story is completely wrong. She never drowned her children but its called woman hollering creek because a woman back in the 1800's was searching for her children that were taken from her by an Indian tribe and she would yell for help for people to help find her children. Legend has it to this day every night she still hollers in hopes to find her missing children

What's this??? Sounds like the Mexican legend of LA llorona! The story says that she killed her 2 children by drowning them in the he river. She was in an abusive relationship. Her boyfriend did not want her children from her previous husband. After she killed her kids she came back to her senses to go insane. Repeatedly screaming from the top of her lungs, "My children, where are my children...?" She too died searching for the bodies inside the river.👀🤔🙄 This story is very old and many do believe in a mother's wailing to be "La Llorona"
