Since both sides of the arena seats are static-stationary, I would use the concept like the cardinal and cowboys stadiums with their rolling turf system but use a rolling floor system and slide the the floors under the stands -lakers right side clippers left side for example

I remember doing this at the convention center here in Bakersfield. Turning the Bakersfield Jam floor into The condors ice ring and back to the Jams.. super cool

The Clippers have home games on same day of the Lakers, The Clippers have to play their home game first, then Lakers will play as regular night game.
