I was just there at the Excalibur hotel to explore way before Tropicana demolished. I didn't see it right in front of me, but riding on the monorail. I didn't even get a chance to check this hotel out. They should've constructed the football game at the empty spot of the desert by the city from now on.

Sadly its called progress and a job......look at the LV Convention Center......I was there for SEMA in 2019, the very last SEMA Show and got off my bus and walked on the sidewalk where construction was still happening to expand the LVCC. Now this Tropicana demolition.....there will be jobs to create from demolition to clean up, to planning, excavating, constructing, concrete pours, tower cranes, and when its done.....hire staff to run the joint and more..............

I’ve passed by this iconic landmark during my 2021 trip across the USA. We’ve stayed at the Park MGM (formerly Monte Carlo) and most of the time when going up through strip, we’d pass by the Tropicana. To my mind however in these decades its been lesser known and its been outdated to many, so it comes to no surprise I’ve heard statements in the coming years that the hotel was gonna come on down and join the demolished gang. But you know, it’s what’s Las Vegas is about. Destroying em and building new stuff. See you around Tropicana.
