I bought the infamous 2014 racing miku with a C grade raking on amiami for less than retail. She had one of her "reactor" broken. Some good glue and a little wire well hidden and she looked brand new. Best bargain I've ever had.

Wow, I remember seeing this up on the preowned and thought it was a good deal, glad to see you got her! Amiami does a pretty good job with letting you know whats wrong with a C grade figure imo, pictures would be a huge help but its a great way to find some expensive figs for a cheap fix.

What a great video! Yes that C grade really wasn’t bad breakages that can be superglued don’t bother me as much as paint scuffs that would be more of a dealbreaker so I think you got a great deal there!

I’d rather buy a broke figure for a deal and repair than buy a figure with missing pieces. Missing pieces are my cut off, won’t do it, but if the deal is really good, I’d settle for damaged figures. It’s actually how I obtained my grails that retailed for hundreds for under their retail price! Also my first C-grade figure from AmiAmi was literally perfect, she was just missing the instruction sheet

Really considering getting a B grade on amiami pre-owned. I hear that collectors in Japan are very precise so the smallest of things such as a scratch can receive a C grade which is crazy to me! But the deals on those figures are amazing. I hear great things about amiami pre-owned despite the grade. Definitely gonna try it out.

I never buy used figures or pay after market prices. If I miss a figure when it first comes out then I either wait for a potential re-release or just consider it lost forever.

I actually got C grade Figmas of Homura and Mami from Madoka Magica on Amiami recently. Homura was about 2k yen and Mami was 4k yen, with the main issue being that their stands got that yellowing. So yeah overall, c grade figures can b a win if u get lucky

Yeah Megahouse Digimon figures are usually nonscale. Seeing you unbox this one convinced me to finally get it though, Agumon chasing a butterfly is so cute and I really like the base! 😍

i got a figure from mercari that F grade because it was "broken" for 1000yen lol her foot was stuck to the base... but that's where it's going anyways. grades in japan are so easily lowered it's crazy. I like a deal ;)

I agree! Japanese grades are pretty strict, like I've never seen an A grade box before but all boxes have minor scratches! 🤣 More savings for everyone! 🥳

Wow even shipping in Canada is expensive. I know Europe isn't better when it comes to figure pricing but still shipping at the right shops is usually a few euros or free

I'm glad rereleases happen, but yeah, it stings a bit when you buy something you've been wanting for a while, then the rerelease happens. I bought the Albedo so-bin ver. for $285 (including shipping) then the rerelease happened six months later. I could have saved over a hundred bucks! Oh well, I was thrilled to death when I got her and not even the rerelease could take that away. As for buying a C grade figure - well - I think it would have to be something I wanted really, really badly, that was impossible to find in better condition. I'm not confident in my ability to fix whatever might need fixing, lol. Thanks for another great video!

it kinda bother me alot more in the past when i know tat fig is broken (even though it is fixed). Dun have such feeling now. Concern will be more of the description did not state / did not indicate properly wat is broken and the unknown feeling if tat can be fixed make me sworn off c grade / broken fig in general
