Hey buddy so i see you complained about how bad it is and how a civic is way better than the suburban and thats cuz you dont use it for its proper use. i mean of course a civic would be better in city parking mpg and parts and cost of repair. but other than that for what the suburban is ment for your not even using not even close to 25% of its features, i would say sell it then. i have an 04 pilot with close to 300k and i get almost the same mpg which is why im going towards the suburban and yukon xl denali. more towards the denali cuz of power. but yeah i have one and soon me and my wife want to have a second child and just with my daughter alone i had to take out my whole music system and have sapce just for the tonka truck stroller lmao and my tools incase i get stuck on the side of the road im good to go. but yeah i hear ya i would just say get rid of it. hey who knows maybe i can take it off your hands lolz.

Okay, I thpught you would really speak about real problems and real good things of a suburban, but man... you are just expecting a 10 year old vehicle with an interior designed and manufactured in 2007 to feel and behave as a new premium car. And, you are also just telling us how bad of an owner you are by not taking care of those problems you've experienced. If you have any weird noise from steering, suspension or powertrain (engine, transmission, axles, diff, etc) you inmediately take it to a mechanic so that he inspects the truck and fixes the problem if there is one. Vehicles need maintenance and repairs over time man, very few vehicles from very few brands were made in certain years to such a high standard as the toyota landcrusiers, 1st gen Tacomas, 2nd gen civics and other ones. Let me tell you something, your suburban uses a 5.3L v8 vortec (one of the most reliable engines ever made in history and of the cheapest to repair or modify), it has a 6L80 or 6L80E transmission (third best automatic transmission to be made for a gasoline v8 just after the current allison for the current 6.6L GM engine and the 6L90 that came with HD trucks from GM as the silverado 2500 HD with the 6.0 or the suburban 2500 HD that came with that same engine). You also have a really sturdy suspension and chassis plattform, one of the best out there. Yeah, plastics crack, things stop working, high use stuff falls appart... but treat the Yukon Denali that you mom has now as this suburban was trated for 10 years and you tell me how crappy it is when it is also 10 or 12 years old. Please learn how to take care of a vehicle and mantain it, or you will end up leaving that teuck in the junk yard.

I’m sorry I hear your argument man but dude u don’t understand we took excellent care of this car and it’s still falling apart and you say all cars fall apart in ten years and that’s normal but frankly it’s not that’s a sign of poor design I’ve driven a lot of high mileage Lexus products that are older and even in some cases have more miles then the Chevy and they end up looking feeling and driving new with zero issues and no crack in the dash whatsoever and it was built around the same time the suburban was(2007) so no it is poor build quality and it’s not normal now the only thing is yes the 5.3 was and is the best part of that car for sure but the transmission is only mid but thankfully not nearly as horrendous as the 8 speed but the reality is they need to step up they’re build quality game cuz a normal well taken care of car should not be falling apart at 10 years old Lexus Acura honda Toyota and even some of the German competition (aside from them being slightly more expensive to maintain) have proven how strong and sturdy they can be with proper care aka the same care we have given to this suburban your totally right tho there ICE is solid and reliable but they’re external part of the car is poor quality and need to step it up fr
