Luckily I'll be doing bmb, which means that the distance problem wont be applicable to me (and other bmb students) as it is highly likely that the whole autumn term will be completely online and we'll only have to go to Hammersmith campus for spring and summer terms.

Congratulations on your offer! Woodward seems like a really nice place so I'm sure you love it and if distance isn't an issue then you have nothing to worry about. Hammersmith campus is much closer to Woodward than South Kensington so imo that seems ideal for you, much better than South Kensington. Good luck and thanks for watching!

Quick question, I live about 30 minutes away from Imperial but I don't wanna miss out on the 'uni experience' - do you think its worth moving out for the first year?

Hmm tough question really. Basically I think first of all you have to look at whether you can afford it. Then think whether staying at home would make it difficult for you to go out and socialise, stop you from staying up late, you'd have to do chores at home etc. Personally, I feel like I would if I were you at least for the first year, if you can convice your parents😂 but there are people who say they had the "uni experience" while at home so it depends. But I'd say stay out, just makes it so much easier to socialise and makes you more independent and useful for personal growth

Hey. In a video you said you tactically made your accom choices to get placed at Beit (because adding Woodward/etc wouldn't help). Can you say what 5 choices you put down / what tactic you used?

Hey, sure, so basically I put Beit twin, Southside twin, Eastside twin, beit single and Wilson. So basically 4 of my 5 were really close and my Wilson choice only had 28 bed spaces so I was less likely to get it. Wilson was also reasonably close. Although if your budget was higher than mine, you can just put another south Kensington hall as your 5th

Hi, just curious about what are the differences between premium ensuites and non-premium ensuites that Woodward offers? Cuz I didn't find any relevant info on the Imperial website, even the beds are of the same size, and the premium ones are at the same price with twins, which apparently offer larger space (*during covid) thus making it sensible that they have to charge more. I found it really hard to go premium without a reason. Thanks!

Hey, so I believe it's the room sizes that differ. In other halls the bed size does too but you're correct, the bed size is the same in Woodward.

Hey so I know someone that had a premium ensuite and I believe they were in the C block. That's not to say that other blocks don't have premium ensuites however. Hope this helps :)

Ok so apparently they are in all blocks but you can't choose the blocks so either way it'll all be random. A friend of mine who lived there says the views aren't that deep - they're nice but not worth paying the extra for if you wanted the premium ensuite just for views
