If you struggle with the first boss you can do the trail of blood. This will reduce the end bosses health by 50 percent. Follow the trail to the end on each side and defeat enemy's inside the bordered circles then pick up the purple items.

Thank you for explaining that. I completed the blood trails, but couldn't find what it does in the game. I ended up beating the map on that run, so I guess it helped.

Nice little starter guide. I want to note an item that you will probably get early on, 'Echoing Band' is very helpful for both swordman and archer due to their physical damage attribute. Also to note Lightning Strike has the potential for the highest DPS mostly due to electrify. Or its better to say that electrify is the highest DPS but you dont really get it on its own. I wouldnt be surprise if devs decide to nerf electrify in the future.

That is a good point, I imagine Echoing Band is a lot easier to get and definitely is a solid damage boost for anything physical damage related. Lightning Strike even without electrify can be insane, I have had it do 5k crits per hit. I never really paid much attention to electrify though, I will definitely have a look. I still haven't managed to make lightning strike work. It always ends up a bit underwhelming. I might be choosing the wrong updates

100%, some of the items are super overpowered, so if you can make use of them from the start of a run its a mega game changer indeed 😄 It is a bit odd you have to pay for items that YOU found though =P

Alternatively you can take XP amulet and save one 'instant collect powerup' until the very last second in order to achieve the level 100 achievement for each class. I like to always have 1 up at all times. Often there are more than two so I like to take my first around 19 minutes left and another around 15 minutes. Depending on when/if they drop I'll farm and take one accordingly and try and space them out. Often you'll get to the 70-80ish range without the XP amulet depending on your time to kill groups of enemies. I recommend avoiding the continuous fire blast as that lowers DPS (tested numerous times). Maybe it's better single target? But the draw off is you have a very hard time seeing small projectiles directly in front of you and it's just not worth it. HOWEVER the fire wall wave that knocks back is overpowered and should be an insta take as your second if you're not planning on unlocking anything via achievements/quest archive. You can check your DPS if you hit space bar. If you run summons and the summoner rings you'll notice they're terrible. Often times dealing 600-900 dps max mid-end game and it simply doesn't cut it. Increasing crit BASE dmg (i.e. +0.1 base crit/+10 base damage on x) is multiplicative with percentage multipliers such as +20% crit damage and +10% flat damage. +projectiles gloves gives a significant overall damage boost. If you prefer to play where you manual aim I highly recommend turning it on during boss encounters (I think the hot-key is 'E' iirc) as it'll make your boss fights significantly more fluid and you'll be able to focus on dodging attacks. I forget if you mentioned it but astro orbs are a summoning ability. Recommend taking this along with golems on Warlock. I like to pick one ability, level it to 3, then make my way to the next ability drop and try and upgrade it, if not choose another high DPS ability for whatever build planned on running. Just a couple tips sorry if I mentioned anything already covered, appreciate the content!

Haha, yes I 100% agree on the continuous fire blast making it hard to see other projectiles! This first guide I made before the DPS list per weapon/attack was in game, would have made things a bit easier if I had it back then :-) I would love to try and build a summon build at some point, as you said take Astronomer's Orbs + Golems + Warlock + the summon item, should be good fun.

@@Jokefish For sure! With Warlock duration is huge as your auto's can't crit and they can hit off screen targets allowing you to collect more hidden XP! Their DPS isn't terrible either. Might be the best clearing base attack IMO. Highly recommend taking +10 base damage ring. The Orbs gain a massive power spike with the inner orb upgrade especially as Warlock. Had 10 inner and 10 outer orbs going super speed it was pretty fun haha

When breaking boxes some times a skull/pentagram/triangle-thingy is in them, they will give you attack speed, or attack damage, or invurnerability for a short while!

Yup, that is definitely a problem. You'd have to stick to no extra pickup range, but then you'd also have more trouble picking up the experience orbs 😅

The best tips are: Disable all defensive traits with Potion of Oblivion. Go ONLY for 1 ability(Ring blades is overall the strongest skill in the game, then comes transfixion and arcane splinter, meteor strike can be good BUT only with the exterminator). Ofc you take the 2 upgrades for the skill and that is it, you do not need to take more pergaments for skills(that is right, you take only 3 pergaments total). Leave the rest of the pergaments on the ground, you do NOT need them. Before taking your 2nd pergament, if you want upgrade for your ability, you need to have your ability at lvl 3(for 3rd scroll you need it at lvl 6). Same goes for the 3rd and last pergament. Ofc you use the 5 extra ability lvl exploit, which is done by Potion of Memories. Remember that more than 1 fully upgraded ability is an overkill and lost of gold. You want as much gold as possible with each and every run. You want at least 60% crit chanse on the ability. The tier list is like this S: Archer, A: Warlock, B: Sorceress, C: Exterminator, D: Swordsman, Cleric, Shieldmaiden. There can be more, but those are like the most important ones.

I recorded a run yesterday where I did not take any ability, it took ages but was kind of fun 😂 It'll be uploaded this weekend! I am not too fond of the Ring Blades, before some upgrades they generally just fly around not hitting much and so they spend a lot of their time doing no damage at all (specially on low mob density). I absolutely love transfixion and phantom needles because of their somewhat auto aim and they generally always hit at least something. And thanks for the tips, I'll definitely be playing around with leveling certain abilities and checking when they get their upgrades! I haven't done much with the potions yet since I didn't collect much materials yet.. haven't played in a while and they were not in the game yet back then lol.

When you get certain achievements you unlock a scroll at the start of the level. Usually something like "Kill a boatload of enemies in this level in one run"!

hello, do you know what conditions required for a trait to become the next level? like the astronomer's orb becomes the electric one for example, sometimes i just want to transform the traits to another one but 3 abilities new traits just appears instead

You have to level the skill up to level IV and get another spell scroll. Then it’s a chance whether not not the upgrade skill will be available

You could try playing in windowed mode, with the game window being like 50% of the full screen so its less chaotic. Let me know if that makes a difference :-)

sometime i die and i check the blessing shrine to find out that i lost a blessing stat that i had upgraded(example :attack damage upgraded 3 time just disappear and restarted to 0), is it normal ? it happened more than once so i wondered if its on dying but i didn't find my response on google...

The pickup range is pretty large by default, so you have to be careful when breaking the boxes that you aren't too close. Try to break them at max range and the powerups should not automatically get picked up yet 😄

I am surprised he didnt mention this. The blue hand/glove once grabbed, will collect all your experience on the ground in the level and have it transferred to you. It is best to save the glove for much later in the run when you know you have left a lot of Exp on the ground that you cant get to due to lots of waves.

Yup, you explained it just fine! Also worth mentioning is that these hands/gloves can be found in random chests/crates/barrels, just like other buff pickups.

How to avoid the death timer dbuff on last boss without picking invunerability items on the ground?

If you just started playing it might be pretty hard, but I would suggest switching to single target damage upgrades as soon as you feel like you can handle the big packs easily. If you follow the blooodtrail in the Haunted Caverns you will find two parts of an item that will do a big chunk of damage to the last boss as well. A funny thing you could also try, that I have heard being suggested, is trying to get as much movement speed as you can to try and outrun the debuff flying towards you as it will only start the timer when it reaches you 😂

The Well mechanic is pretty cool, but really stupid at the same time. I go into this dangerous dungeon. Kill thousands of hellish monsters and find really cool items. I put them in a well for this guy to bring them back to surface so I can go up and buy them back from him. They are not his. I found the fucking item.

The best advice I can add is do not purchase items until you have most of your blessings at least level three or four. You want all of your gold spent helping you with early runs so you can make more gold faster. That won’t be the case if you invest thousands into items that sit unused in your stash.

That is a good one! Blessings do have a higher priority compared to items. Although some items are just an insta-buy because they can add more damage than any of the blessings ever could

It feels like they are kind of trying to mix it up with some of the other characters. Some of them barely have any crit chance or damage, just like some of the abilities. But crit is just too strong to completely drop, so they might have to think about that a little more =P

All depends on the situation, I toggle it on and off pretty often depending on what I am currently fighting. For most trash it really doesn't matter that much, but for bosses it is much better to switch to manual aim of course :-)

@@Jokefish And I definitely appreciate it, I'm just upset that gaming is going this direction, because it will only get worse. You certainly must remember a time where you loaded up a game for the first time and got to play though it for the first time and the feelings you felt during that. Minecraft, Runescape, World of Warcraft, anything. At the end of the day I can appreciate playing a game how you want to, but if what you want is to be told what to do, I find it vile because it bleeds into how games are developed.
