I think it's more about the knowledge that person is having. And if you have pursued your degree from one of the top universities, there are more chances that you'll gain better knowledge. But the knowledge also depends on the person's will. If you're passionated about the subject and agriculture You can still have better marks in interview based on your own hard work.

Statistics se I think seats kam rahti hain colleges mai Par if you're interested in the subject If you gain good knowledge based on your hardwork No one can stop you to create your own scope. Atleast You can make people study the subject, as alot of people, including me, are afraid of this subject. So, hard work is the key. Every subject has scope But it's more about you, how much input you're giving to it.

Actually you should only opt that subject if you're highly interested in it. Kyuki you have to study alot of that subject. Aage scope bhi minor subjects ka sirf higher top universities mai hi rahta hai. To agr intresting lgta ho agro chemicals to hi opt kro Nhi to upgrade ke lie try kro Kyuki all over India you know ki soil science, jo ki major subject hai, uski seats har university mai hain, so there are more chances to get jobs from Soil science subject.
