My cleaning company website goes live as of January 15th and we decided to choose the 1099 model too. Plenty of reasons but the main one is the capital. Is that not a redflag for irs subcontracting but basically having them as your employees wearing your company shirts, being at the job when you tell them too, etc.. ?

Not true ! I started cleaning myself and out the jump I started charging very competitive at $50-75 an hour depending on the type of cleaning . No bs and I make 10-12k a month that’s all mine profit no paid marketing just build up my clients and started commercial. Now I have a team of 8 still haven’t paid yet just google profile , great website, referrals. I let the work talk and my customer experience. In my city it comes down to are you locally owned and many of clients prefer that and a black owned business. It is good to build a name which took me 6 months.
