I’ve already started being more selective with RLC purchases based on the number of QC issues, not to mention complete duds, in 2024. When I saw the price for this one it was an immediate hard pass. At this point Mattel is just trolling us. $50 shipped for a car that is almost guaranteed to have QC issues and isn’t all that desirable in the first place?! Come on. Mini GT, Inno, Pop Race et al must love Mattel pulling this crap that’s pushing so many collectors to their brands. Just found your channel and enjoy your perspective. Kept up the good work! 👍

Good video. I’m interested in this piece as well, just because I don’t have anything like it and I think in concept it could be really cool. I’m also disappointed in the price. I know costs have gone up with everything, but as you said, after tax and shipping, $50 is definitely a commitment. I would really expect for that type of money now to have a MUCH superior quality control than we had in 2024. In my opinion, the Lincoln Continental was one of the best last year when I consider the overall design aesthetic….and quality. I was so disappointed in many of the other ones from last year. I did not do overdrive this year either. I just didn’t see the value in it after what I thought we’d get last year. I agree with your comments and appreciate the content. Awsome video, I do highly agree with you on this . Awsome casting . I just upgraded my acct to RLC overdrive to get slapped with this . $30 was roughly justifiable to me . But $37 plus ..... if this is their way to have less rlc membership than they're doing a good job upping they're price .

You can't get a Miura from those brands... so no, you can't say you prefer those brands...Kaido is really good but let's be honest, can you get a Lambo? A Mclaren? A Porsche? No, no and no, just the same NSX in different colors

In this case when they fixed the price it went from 35$ to 37$. I'm getting one forsure, yes the price is very steep and I hope that's not the direction rlc is going this year or I'm out. With that said this miura is antifreeze green imo the best hotwheels color and my favorite of all time, it has the new oem style looking wheels and has two moving parts with good detail. There's no denying this is a frickn awsome car. I hope this money increase is just for this car specifically, maybe its because the new old style paint and what goes into making a certain wheel just for this car. Like you said though...the doors...I just hope they dont end up like the McLaren doors from last year.. But 2024 the worst year??? Heck no they put out several great cars and then we got optimus, the blue supra, some others and the cascadia car hauler. I think 2024 was a pretty good year.

Going to try for it. I know the hood and bonnet will not sit flush- they don’t in the sales pics. The Legends/100% cast is beautifully done. The spectraflame on this is 🔥🔥🔥

Seems that most people don't like the price because it narrows their own profit margin. I'd say that 75-80% of all RLC purchases are done with the purpose of reselling it.
