The long handle makes sense when you factor in the wave feature. It allows you to get a good grip on it before you deploy it. Secondly, in areas with blade length restrictions, the longer handle gives you more reach, equivalent to maybe a 5in blade if you grip it all the way back. Not bad for a smaller blade. It's a well thought out design.

Thanks for the video Matt. It looks like a hollow primary on that blade. I know CS has switched some blades to a flat, but this model is still being made with a hollow to the best of your knowledge?

I am curious to see an AK-47 with a Tanto Point. The current AK-47 has a clip point but to me is not curved enough to be a “true Clip point”. The point of the current AK-47 is a clip point with “spear point” characteristics? Anyone? I love the looks of the AK-47 it has a “Predatorial” look to it that it is unmatched by the recon family for example. Plus the blunt point is also an added feature that no other Cold Steel folded knives have. I got mine a few days back and it is big. It is not a small pocket knife and I was pleasantly surprise that it is big and predatorial looking. I am as I said curious to see an AK-47 with a Tanto point.

actually the ak 47 gives you a little handle to pull the knife out of the pocket.
