I'm currently planning to build a 80cc motorised bike, there's no part that would fit my bike so I had to design and cast my own hub adapter. What I don't get is that how could the compression force could hold up and not slipped. Because it seems like it's pretty weak.

I hope you designed the casting mold correctly, but the traditional hub adapter typically works well as long as you tighten the bolts fully.

Where do you recommend buying parts? I'm wanting to upgrade my bike but not sure where to buy decent quality stuff. I've had a real hard time getting mine to work and finally got all the kinks worked out.

You gotta shop around imo, I've had good luck with CDH power.Depends what you need.Treatland,Amazon,eBay,there's a bunch.

Simple weld them on

It would be a better option for most people to braze it, since it is cheaper and easier compared to welding aluminum.

cut a slot in hub and adapter and use a woodriff key with red loctite
