Will Diggs I have a 1997 Marquis with 252,000 miles and I paid $600 for it. Been driving it since 2017 and it’s still going strong. The AC still blows ice cold and the heater still works. Oh and the electric seats and windows still work. Radio doesn’t work. I drive it super easy and take good care Of it. Best $600 I ever spent.

Did a Magnaflow cat back exhaust, put in a 3:73 rear end, had it professionally tuned, with a k&n cold air intake, and swapped out for TSW Silverstone 18” lighter weight wheels. Car was amazing. In 2014 I bought a challenger RT off the showroom floor, and sold the grand Marquis to my brother. I missed the Grand Marquis so much I just bought it back from my brother and I love it. If this motor ever goes “let the building begin”. It is now my daily driver and it is so much car for the money. Grand Marquis..The last of the good body on frame cars. For a V8 the fuel mileage really isn't that bad. The 2 valve 4.6 V8 is probably one of the most reliable engines made in the last 20yrs. I am giving my son my very good condition 2004 Ford F150 STX with the 4.6 2 valve as well as having a locking rear differential. Its going to be his graduation present this year. I am currently looking at used Grand Marquis for a new to me vehicle. (yes I would love a newer F-150,,but so expensive) What can you honestly buy out there today that comes close to the overall build quality of one of these cars in the up to 4K range..some 5 plus with extremely low miles. I love the 4.6 2 valve engine. In my truck it always had no issues doing a 1/2 ton trucks duties. Pulls my fiberglass bass boat down interstates without breaking a sweat with a mildly tuned lower hp V8. I would like the locking rear diff added to whatever G Marquis I purchase...Plenty of parts out there to make it happen.

Yeah I have a silver 2003 MGM Ultimate. Converted the rear air suspension to coil springs. The air bags were already leaking when I got it so I just solved that problem for life. Transmission has a broken accumulator spring, making the 1-2 shift jerk about 10% of the time. Converted the Y pipe single exit exhaust to true dual, no linkage pipe. Just two divorced 3" pipes right off the rear cats with side exits before the axle. Added Marauder headlights and corners, swapped in Crown Vic tails, tinted the tails in the S55 pattern, tinted the giant red rear fascia so it appears black. It's the daily and I abuse the whole hell out of it, so I'm not putting any more money into customization :)

Things have changed. Back in 2016, I bought a 69,000 mile 2006 Grand Marquis LS in excellent condition for $4500. Unfortunately it was Performance White, and is now half white and half gray. I still have it, and it still runs like new with 238,000 miles. I plan to wear it out. But I know it won't last forever, so just a couple of weeks ago I bought a one owner 2007 Grand Marquis LS with 36,000 actual miles on it. Even though I was a mechanic for 41 years, I had it inspected by another mechanic I've known for a long time, who has a hydraulic lift. Everything checked out. I paid $9000 for it. These cars are not cheap anymore. And really nice ones are few and far between. I consider $9000 for a like new super low mileage Grand Marquis that has been in AZ it's entire life a much better deal than the new $35,000 2022 Hyundai Accent my ex wife bought.

The only thing about these cars after 100k you have to replace the entire suspension front and rear . But the cost for that is really reasonable for $800 . It’s ready for another 100k miles in my opinion the worse thing about these cars is the junky intake! But do a Dorman upgrade and your good . As a Crown Vic LX owner I can say that the P71/B is more fun and I'd rather have one of those if it's one that was an admin car and not a patrol car. However, the LX/MGM will get better MPG, is more comfortable and will most likely be more reliable due to less abuse. It's all in what you're looking for. Sadly due to salt (it's not bad but do I necessairly want to deal with all the incoming salt issues in a couple years? no) I'll be looking for a newer Crown Vic and the only option is pretty much going to be a 2010+ CVPI.

I buy and flip cars a lot and with my experience as well as with friends, family, neighbors etc that are "grandma/grandpa" types is that they are the ones that typically over maintain their vehicles and the types of owners I seek out when buying used cars as they usually buy new, with cash, then own them for 10 years plus then sell them with a folder full of maintenance records. They usually go to dealers for maintenance and not quickly lube's......That's what I have experienced and witnessed instead of just assuming they are cheap and lazy and looking for convenience compared to a typical middle aged person who is rushing around and leasing cars every 3 or so years running kids to and from places sitting in traffic and burning through brakes and tires and finding time to change their oil when it's already 6 months overdue..

I love that you brought up the grandma example. My mother, 86 years old, has just offered me her 2008 mercury grand marquis. I call it the Palm Beach, cause that's what it says on her barely worn seats. Everything about this car is gold. I'm making a list of little additions and subtractions I want for it. I want to free it of emissions restrictions, without going overboard, I want to free up its lungs and do something with the exhaust, maximize its natural born get up and go. So far all I've found is mods that look cool if this were pimp my ride. I haven't seen a rim/tire yet that I like and I haven't heard from anyone who's lowered it a notch what if any restrictions result from doing so. I think I would rather not lower it if I'm going to run into problems with the suspension or scraping the carriage. I would rather hit speed bumps without needing to slow to a complete stop, I seem one that took out the bench seat for a couple buckets, that looked real cool. 4 of those instead of the two bench seats could be cool, but I can think of good use for the bench as well, yes sir

I have a 95 grand marquis and it drove like a cloud for bout 7 months. I've had to have every part on both sides of front end fixed numerous times from sway bar breaking. Great engine! Horrible front end issues!! I never noticed how many of these type cars I hear making front end noises till I bought mine.

Here's the real deal on an older Grand Marquis: 95 MERC Location: Phoenix, AZ., USA Grand Marquis Suspension Upgrades To improve the ride and handling of your Grand Marquis/ Crown Vic/ Town Car, a few suspension modifications will have your Panther chassis able to cruise the highways in safety AND comfort. Our Panthers respond very well to these mods, and the cost for parts is relatively low, considering the benefits. The most obvious modification is to abandon the "stock" shock absorbers in favor of the High-Pressure, Gas-charged type - I chose KYB "Gas-A-Just" shocks all-around, due to having used them in the past, and they performed very well. Made in Poland. Next on the list are the Control Arm Bushings -- "Stock" rubber bushings in both Upper & Lower Control Arms are replaced with Urethane Bushings, (I used Energy Suspension bushings) thus insuring that your wheel alignment adjustments will STAY where they're put for several years -- BIG savings in tire wear -- maintains precise steering -- excellent vehicle control. Next come the Stabilizer Bars (Sway Bars), which need attention, but no replacement for the FRONT sway bar. FRONT sway bar gets Greaseable Urethane Bushings (Energy Suspension) and Greaseable Sway Bar Links (MOOG). The REAR sway bar gets replaced with an ADDCO 1" Rear Sway Bar, and greaseable Urethane bushings (Energy Suspension) -- Rear sway bar End Links are replaced with Energy Suspension end links with urethane bushings. AFTER these mods are completed, be SURE to get a COMPUTERIZED WHEEL ALIGNMENT that gives you a Print-Out, so you can SEE that your alignment was done to specification. NO guesswork !! Your Panther will no longer pitch, rock, and/or sway, and there will be no more big-car "float" at high speeds. Cornering will now be flat and smooth, without annoying "Body Roll". Your expensive tires will last longer, too ! These mods were done on The 95 MERC several years ago, and all have proven to be of great value, both in performance, comfort, and safety. All parts mentioned above were purchased from RockAuto and Amazon. "Italian Lace" Wheels, Goodyear Comfortread Touring Tires-98T Panther Suspension Modifications ADDCO 1" Rear Sway Bar (Top) I have completely reconstructed the entire front suspension of my Grand Marquis, using both stock and aftermarket parts. Ball Joints, Control Arm Bushings, Springs, Spring Isolators, Shocks, Sway Bar, Wheel Hubs, Brake Calipers, Police Brake Pads, and Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors. Rebuilt suspension was designed for long distance, high-speed cruising in the mountains of the desert Southwest. Almost 50,000 miles on my rebuild -- "Computer" front end alignment is still perfect. When installing a Sway Bar and/or End Links on a Grand Marquis, BOTH front wheels should be completely off the ground -- best way is to support both sides of the frame on jack-stands. End Links won't line up if only one wheel is off the ground. If End Links are damaged, REPLACE them ! Best (and cheapest) handling improvement comes from URETHANE bushings for the Sway Bar and the Control Arms. Urethane control-arm bushings will hold your front end in perfect alignment -- use "computer alignment" ONLY , and tell the technician to "set it at the nominals". I also added a 1" Sway Bar and Urethane End Links to the rear. The 95 MERC handles very well at all speeds, with flat cornering and great stability in cross-winds. KYB "Gas-A-Just" -- (gas-pressurized @ 150 psi) shocks all around. Custom Dual Exhaust Exits; Superior Tips

This is exactly the situation I went through bout a year ago I was looking for a decent mileage P71, but I could not find one that did not have a ton of idle hours, been beat to death, interior gutted, and if I could find one it was way over priced. Then I had a thought.....look for a Mercury Grand Marquis.....typically very well taken care of, hardly abused, low idle hours, interior is usually in great shape....you get all the benefits of a P71 without all the disadvantages. My car was a one owner 2006, 62K, driven by an elderly lady, interior was immaculate, paint like brand new, runs and drives like a brand new car.....on average I drive over 100 miles a day and nothing drives or runs better man its great I will never sell it!!!

Something that I never hear or see talked about with Panthers is worn suspension. Suspension parts failures at around 100k of civilian use in Grand Marquis are very common. 2/2 of my MGMs (2003 and 2008) were purchased at 120k and 97k respectively, both with worn suspension. The 2003 had leaking rear air shocks, 4 severely worn ball joints, A-arms, and struts. It costed about $2000 to replace all of this, but my local mechanic had the welder do some exhaust for free, which was great. The 2008 I just bought needed struts really bad. That's $190 per Motorcraft strut, plus 2 hours labor, about $600. The front end still doesn't feel just right on the 2008, but everything else was inspected by the trusted mechanic. Watch how people drive over speed bumps at 25mph and you'll soon see why this is the case. My BEFORE you buy a Mercury Grand Marquis advice is this: ram it over speed bumps in the test drive (go to a school or shopping center) and make sure the front end doesn't bottom out or feel loose. Park the car and put the windows down, turn the A/C or heat off, radio off, and turn the wheel all the way left and all the way right - listen for pops, which would indicate worn ball joints. Sometimes Grand Marquis' get sold out of an estate sale and have sat in a garage or driveway for a long time. This can cause the suspension to settle in some unnatural ways, making it seem like there's more wear on the suspension. Putting the car on a lift for 30 minutes can allow grease to move around in the ball joints and make them work correctly. Sagging coil springs can also sometimes be fixed this way, just stretch them out by putting it on the lift. If any of these problems arise, go ahead and deduct $1500 from the fair purchase price or walk away. There's also the steering columns at least on 2008-2011 model MGMs and CVs. They get worn out and introduce a lot of play in the steering wheel. This can result in an accident as you basically lose control if you hit a bump. A bumpy gravel driveway takes away about 40% of the steering control you have, as you'll need to turn the wheel very far to get steering response in these conditions. I experienced this in a 2009 CV P70 LWB fleet package. The only solution was to replace the whole column with one from the junkyard, about $250 for the part, 1-2 hours labor. I traded that car in, as it also had a cracked intake, busted/rusted shocks, leaking trans, and an oil leak. Good thing I only bought it for $2k with 98k, and this was when 2009 wasn't old yet.

I have 238,000 miles on my 2006 Grand Marquis LS, and the only suspension parts I've replaced were the rear air bags and shocks. I actually replaced the air bags with coil springs. Under $250 in NEW parts, I did the work myself, took less than 2 hours. Front suspension is all original and in good condition. Even if you have to replace all 4 ball joints, both shocks and springs, the complete upper control arms, and the sway bar links and bushings, you are looking at $500-$600 in aftermarket parts, and any mechanically inclined person can do the job themselves. My steering is fine, the rack and pinion steering in 2003 and up models can last past 400,000 miles. It has zero oil leaks. I did install an aftermarket transmission pan with a drain plug, and replace the transmission fluid every 9,000 miles, and the filter every 27,000 miles. I change the engine oil and filter every 3000 miles. Running these cars with dirty oil and trans fluid will damage the seals.
@wolfalaska7638
@wolfalaska7638 9 ай бұрын
Gerald, I'm in favor of frequent maintenance. May I ask how you came to 9,000 miles for tyranny fluid change & 27,000 for filters? Was fluid getting burnt smell or finding metal in filters? Ford says tranny is a lifetime unit with no service needed. No one knows what that means. Do you always change oil every 3,000 miles or every 5 months? Our MGM LS is 20 years old at 44,000. CARFAX shows numerous Ford dealer servicing for this car. Some mechanics have questioned servicing more than factory engineers have specified. Not me. But I want the extra effort to be worthwhile. Thank you for the good info in yout comment! Wolf

I'm on my 6th Grand Marquis, a 2003 Grand Marquis CTE Custom in the last 25 years. Bought with 44,000 miles and now have 197,000 on it. I keep them until 225,000-250,000 miles on them. Except for everyone replacing the intake manifold once or twice in their lifetime, these cars are indestructible. Yes, I will be buying another in a year or 2. With many back surgeries with steel rods in my back and down my left leg, these cars are so comfortable. Always bought them from the elderly as they only drive to church and grocery store once a week. Hell, they've never been over 55 mph on the highway. Buy from the elderly! Nothing like a rear wheel drive V8 powered car. Next one will be a 2010. Last full production year. Also the insurance industry has Grand Marquis a 5 out of 5 star safety rating. Consumer Reports has it 5 out of 5 stars for trouble free reliability and maintenance.

I loved my crown Victoria lx sport out of all. The 95 grand marquis I owned was decent for its age and gave me little to no trouble. I owned 2 town cars a 96 and a 99. I was in the market a month ago for a lx sport cv grand marquis or town car. In my area there isn't much for the price range. I settled for a 2010 crown vic police interceptor with 111k on it. After owning for a month and it runs very strong transmission pulls hard but I've noticed some things that have me asking myself why the hell did I buy it. 2005 LS Ultimate Edition. I bought it for $5600 in 2022, and it had little over 71,200 miles on it. The guy I bought it from got it from an auction not too long before and put dual pipes and flow master mufflers on it (So it sounds like a beast), but just before that it was owned by a retired sheriff who barely drove it and garage kept it. Just hit 100,700 miles today. I'm slowly upgrading it to be more performance oriented, eventually gonna build it up to be essentially a supercharged marauder. Love your channel. Preach it about the Gran Marquis. I own a 97 that I bought for 1000 back in 15. When I bought it had 215k now has 255k. Right after I bought it took a 500 mile one edge trip in it. Only thing I did was change the oil to 5W/20 , so it would flush the engine somewhat. Driving 70 + avg 27 mpg. Currently run 5W30 or 10W30 and still get about 23 mpg to 25 mpg. Try that in a 4 banger and all cramped up. It is not the lx with the leather and all but I love it. No the downside. It did have a couple of minor repairs, brake lines and shift linkage. I will probably have to get rid of it. Why? Rust. The previous owner never washed it. The front underside is rusted bad. To the point I was advised the front frame would need to be cut out and a new (junkyard) clean frame welded in. Remember Ford with the Crown Victoria had a recall on some of them about rust. But I am already looking around for one.

Good advice for the budget minded buyer. But I did buy a 2004 Marauder and I am not budget minded. Here is what you do to ANY Panther platform car 2003 and up (3rd generation for the rack and pinion front suspension) to make it into a "rollerskate-on-a-rail" handling beast that can keep up with C6 Corvettes in the twistys. I'll list them in order of importance and effectiveness. For myself these modifications all started with the stock 18" Marauder rims and two of them were widened 1-1/2" to put Nitto street drag radials on the back. *None of these mods can work well enough to make up for bad tires!* The stock Marauder BF Goodrich's are quite good but don't last. I have 8 rims, one set of Yokohama's as grocery getters, and one set of Nitto's with those widened rims for when I go to teach the Corvettes a lesson on how to drive. BTW the Nittos wear out faster than the BF Goodrich's. lol 1) - KVR 14" front rotors. Having good brakes is paramount. With my KVR setup I can come to a complete stop from 60 mph in less than 100 feet. You must ratchet the seat belts and cinch them up tight to keep from sliding out from under them. With practice you will be able to go into a turn and wait until the last millisecond to apply hard braking and come off the brake in time to take the turn while that C6 is telling himself you're going to go off the curve. This is where you begin to leave him! (note: Drilled holes and slots are for wet braking performance and do nothing to improve dry performance. In fact they remove mass from the rotor and do not help cooling enough to make up for the loss of the heat sink mass. They are there to let the steam out of the pad surface so it won't oppose the braking force of the piston, so you don't need both.) 2) - Torsen T2 differential with 31 spline axles. Regardless of the gear ratio, *and especially if you have Traction-Loc,* you must have differentiation coming out of the turns. As you come out of the turn you can kick down, do a 3-1 shift, and the tires will both differentiate and not lose traction, keeping you on the road. This is where you pull away from that C6! 3) - ADDCO 1-1/4" rear sway-bar. This limits body roll and keeps the car flatter in those turns, especially the rear tires so they can work well with the T2. *Do NOT beef up the front bar!* You must have some independence on the heavy end of the car to keep from bouncing off the turn when there are bumps. 3) - Metco billeted aluminum, polyurethane-bushed rear control arms and Watts links. This eliminates any side-to-side movement of the rear end, making for steady transitions from left to right. 4) - QA1 dual adjustable racing shocks on all 4 corners. BTW the Metco's are necessary if you want to put widened rims on the back, which you can only do with these shocks. My Nitto's clear the shock rod by just 1/8" but never touch the tire. With these shocks you can adjust the compression to be easier than the rebound and as the car goes faster, the bumps in the road will cause the shocks to make the car squat lower and lower. My guess is Quicksilver (that's her name) is 1" lower at 140 than when sitting still. 5) - Optional, MMX Metal's 200 mph driveshaft. Does nothing for the handling except peace-of-mind for the driver not having to worry about flipping the car end-over-end if the front u-joint breaks. You could put on a front loop for that instead, but that won't keep a broken U-joint from beating up the car if either joint breaks at 140. All this costed me about $7000. Quicksilver is truly a wonder to drive. At 140 she is smooth as glass and she really does outrun those C6's as well as two-seater BMW's and Mercedes' in the turns, all of them with 100 to 150 more horsepower than my measly 302 HP. I wouldn't dare try to outrun a cop anywhere, but on the street or on a curvy country road, Quicksilver is a police interceptor *interceptor!* There is no car I've run into that she can't stay right on their A$$ or leave in the dust on a curvy road. She's a CAN-AM CAN DO street car. With ALL of those creature comforts you told us about in your video. Now you know what to do to make your Grand Marquis keep up with me... ...oh, but you'll need an all aluminum, 32 valve, dual overhead-cam 4.6L engine too. Or you could just start by buying a Marauder first. lol

@@4doorstang724 I'm not a big fan of blowers. I'm old enough to remember the old days of the NHRA when Big Daddy set the standard for Top Fuel Dragsters and put himself in front of the engine. As a technician I know a blower is robbing HP off the front of the engine and is inefficient. To me, blowers are for diesel engines that need to make a lot of torque and antique flathead gas engines. Or on a P47, which of course also had a turbocharger too. lol Early in 2003 Jerry Barnes designed and I think still sells the Trilogy, a blower setup for Marauders. Back in 2004 it was $5000: has everything you need; bigger fuel pump, injectors and MAF sensor, even a reversed roller clutch pulley for the alternator which has to be turned around to fit. The roller clutch is a good mod for an alternator on any car with a serpentine belt because it keeps the alternator from throwing the belt off or damaging it when you do that downshift and engine speed drops 2000 RPM. (And the belt tries to make the alternator speed drop 5000 RPM INSTANTLY!) If I were to add a power mod it would be a turbocharger. When it comes to drag racing there's nothing better and it beats blowers by far because the spooling up "problem" (which isn't much of a problem these days) isn't an issue on a drag strip. Maybe the first 60 feet but after that a proper turbo setup will make much more power than a blower. ...and you'll get better gas mileage on the highway when you're not hot-dogging it. But I really don't need it. For me it's all about handling. I like drag racing to be sure, but having 450 horses to go to the grocery store... it's overkill.

I picked up a 96 Grand Marquis Bayshore Edition (2 tone leather) for 2500. It’s for 250k miles in it but the guy kept up with all the paperwork and the car was taken care of. If someone farted too hard in it, he had documentation.

I have a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis CTE "Custom Tasca Edition" with 200,000 miles on it. Bought it with 48,000 miles and it's the 6th Grand Marquis I have bought over the last 25 years. The most reliable V8 rear wheel drive car there is. Very comfortable ride with all the power accessories. Everyone I bought was from an elderly couple who used it once a week for grocery shopping and to church. Never been over 55 mph and never beat on. Always well taken care of.

I straight piped my 07 GM. Removed spare tire. And man oh man. That V8 is NO joke. Sometimes I arrive at home and think to myself, this thing is a borderline sports car. Altho muscle car. Its very powerful. Not slow at all. Cruises at 100mph like a playful puppy.

Yes, I totally agree...mine is a '98 MGM GS model...Spruce green with almost 200,000 miles...is a joy to drive and floats like a steamboat navigating the mighty Mississip...i believe the traditional segmented grille on the '98-'02 is more attractive and in line with all the classic styling of earlier more well known Mercs...ie, 1949 grille ...the newer 'waterfall' design is ok if u have no imagination or don't mind thinking that ppl will mistake it for a ...ugh..BUICK!...The vertical height with the round badge in the center...and the triple angled Mercury logo from a distance DOES INDEED resemble the round Buick emblem with it's three slanted ascending shields...C'mon...I can't be the only one who noticed that!...lol

Today I finally grabbed the keys to my mother's 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis. Never in its 15 years, parked snug up against the tennis ball hanging in the garage, has the gas pedal met the floor. There are depths to this transmission and engine alike that have not only never been tested, but, you know what, stop it, I'm stoked. I do have a question though, I just got my tags today here in California, it passed smog in 60 seconds. I'm not a mechanic but what are some "must do's", easy changes that will give this a boost. I plan on keeping everything i change out to put back on for the next smog, I mean, I'm kidding I would never, but hypothetically, someone said to change the air filter, but the comment section laughed that move off. I just want to give it some pop, let it breathe from all the restrictions to the air flow and if any police parts fit, i want to include that without needing to pull the engine out

Thx for this review. Got my Dad's '05 GM a few years back as my 2nd car. Don't drive it that much, yet decided to to the bypass project and get rid of the air suspension due to rotted out air bags. Yet have all the parts and may go back to that. some electrical window issues due to moisture. Other then this, no issues. I think I need to drive it a bit more and tune it up.

I've got a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis LS with just over 75,000 miles on it. I bought it in 2006 with 25,600 miles on it. I just replaced the rack and pinion steering, I also have the two passenger windows not working and no A/C, but she has a lot of power and drives nice. I live in Florida and have only gone without the A/C for about five and a half years now. Eventually I'll get around to fixing those things, I do have a fan for the summer time.

I have an '03 I bought used in 2009, it's been fantastic. Good power, super comfortable and it gets me where I need to go. Although the PO didn't keep up with the maintenance. The suspensions wear out on all of the panther cars because they're so heavy. Look out for ball joints and check the rear axel seals/bearings. The intake manifold cracked on mine even though it had the updated part. The LCM went out but was replaced for free since it's a safety recall. I also had to replace the ABS computer, fuel pump and have the AC system rebuilt. At this point the car has been paid off for years and it still runs great. I'll be sad when it finally comes time to get rid of it. I honestly don't know what I would replace it with.

Bro great channel, been watching for about a year here in Tampa/Clearwater. Just brought a 96 Grand Marquis for $70 from an older man, it needed a heater core and the pitman and idler arms replaced. So i bypassed the heater core for now and I'm doing the pitman arm, already did the idler arm. I'm looking to buy another grand mar for my sister who drives a windstar(bad rear axle recall)

Gotta watch the intake manifold on them though. I had a 97 grand Marquis with 120k and put 10k on it and manifold cracked. I put a new one in and it was fine after that. I currently have a 2003 grand Marquis - they put the aluminum reinforcement on the front of the manifold in this model and forward, but my gasket went bad. Replaced the manifolds on both of them. Still love the car though, just keep an eye on your coolant level and the areas around your spark plug boots. If there's coolant getting into your spark plug holes it's most likely your manifold (I say this because having this issue is almost inevitable with the 02 and earlier models). Best of luck to you

bought my 2002 4 years ago for $1200(cdn) with 130kmiles. Paint is in fantastic condition and still almost like new. a month or two does not pass by without getting positive comments from individuals or ask if l plan on selling it. hardly any maintenance issues apart from replacing a gas emission part($12) and 2 ignition coil on spark plugs. two years ago l went to see my father in montreal from St Stephen NB and was surprised to see 28 MPG on highway. l would buy another one. My father thought it was a steal and a classic.
