Call me old fashioned but I don't care for lip gloss. Don't like slippy, sticky, goopy, too shiny gloss and stuff. Don't like doe-foot applicators or pots you stick your finger in. Give me an old-fashioned bullet lipstick any day.

Nars Damage is easily one of my top 5 lipstick shades. I'm on my second tube. It's so unique and goes very well with my colouring (green gray something eyes, light beige skin and dyed dark brown hair). I rarely have it full on though. Love it dotted on or with 1 light layer. And it fades soooo evenly and beautiful. Love this video!

I have six of Lisa’s Velvets (Muse, Blush and Cinnabar being my favorites) and one of her Luxuriously lucents (Meet me in Berlin, gorgeous!). Before I started using her make up, Bobbi Brown was my go to-brand for lipsticks. I adore the Luxe formula and one of my favorites of all time is from Bobbi Brown (Pink Buff, one of those colors to have in the pocket).

The silicone-y smoothing feeling of the 3CE lips that is super flattering on dry lips and beautiful reminds me a lot of the Mac Powder Kiss Lipsticks! The ones in the classic lipstick bullet, not the liquid lip. Those are my favourite lipstick formula, definitely think you should try them if you haven't already! It's super comfortable on the lips and a go-to where you can just slap it on regardless of your lip condition and it'll look amazing.

The Bobbi Brown Crushed is my secret favourite! You can achieve such a natural sheer or more pigmented blotted look. I will say it can be a tad dry, but I find that you can easily fix that with a bit of lip balm.

Love the NARS sheer lipsticks. I wish they kept manhunt around. Gorgeous sheer bright red. I also enjoyed damage quite a bit. Almost picked another up in the Sephora sale but oos. Givenchy had a nice line of sheets for a while too but also discontinued. Would very much enjoy a luxury lipstick review. Really love your videos!

There’s a Lisa Eldridge shade, I think it’s called “love of my life” that might replace that neon pink YSL shade in your collection. Not completely the same, but close, and a very flattering version of that color.

I love lipstick. Lipstick and foundation is what I always buy more of. I prefer a satin or Demi matte lipstick. That being said until minute 12, all the lipsticks swatched quite patchy and a bit too sheer for me. Like I would have to go over at least 4 times to get an even color on the lips. Could be how it captured on the video only, but it has not made me try any of them 😅 my favorite formula of creamy lipstick is Lancôme Ruby Rouge (lasts for hours and hours)

I totally agree with you. Purchased a couple of neutral lipsticks by Dior recommended by @aliandreeamakeup and i have to return them. Very dissapointed super dry and makes me look so much older. Funny that i was considering purchasing the same shades as you… after this review and others will go for baby and slip. 😍 hopefully i will like the formula and tones on me this time!

I love to watch all this lipstick talk. Personally I love other shades in rouge coco flash. I have finished and repurchases 92 amour and the red translucent look is both moisturizing and relatively long staying. And stains a little and is very comfy 😂. Obviously i love it, much better than coco bloom those are a bit too creamy and too pigmented for my preference.

Ughhh i bought one merit lipstick on impulse, i love the color and texture but it gives me that inner white line inside my lipline i cant stand it! Beautiful but will not purchase more, the Revlon lipsticks ended up being better for me. Rare Beauty, Bossy cosmetics and NCLA are also really amazing

The way that you described a hyped lipstick that just ended up a dry cakey disappointment is exactly how I feel about the Merit lipsticks... 😫😫 Everyone RAVES about them. I bought Baby, L'Avenue, and Slip and was so disappointed in how they worked on my lips. I tried Baby first and found it to be a chalky grey mess that smelled musty and tasted like burnt dollar store birthday candles, dry, murkey, pastey. I thought I got an expired priduct. Eagerly, I ripped the other two open to try, L'Avenue and Slip were no better. I think they are my worst purchase from Sephora in the last 2 years, and one of the worst products I've ever put on my mouth.
