I've been using Dior for a decade now. and it's true that once you choose to use a high-end skin care product you can't go back using a lower end skincare product because the lower end skin care product will not work on the skin. IMO. For people in their 20's to 30's I think that using Dior's Capture Total is good enough. But as we age we have to upgrade our skincare products as we are loosing more collagens and having more visible fine lines especially on the fore-head and crow feet at the corner of the eyes . So far I have not come across any eye cream from Dior that works well for me. but many people are raving about Dior's Prestige Le Micro Serum De Rose Yeux but it doesn't work for me and it's expensive for a mere 20ml that cost $300 SGD. I've tried Dior's L'or da vie eye cream too but gosh.!!It doesn't suit me as I can feel the sting in my eyes minutes after applying and it's very costly too. I think if I remember correctly it costs close to $500..correct me if I'm wrong. As for the Dior Prestige line I like and I'm using the Dior Prestige La micro Hulie de rose advance serum and this works for me as it helps to lift the sagging skin and make my skin tone even and brighter. I would say that using this and a day or night cream is good enough don't need to add another serum on top of this serum I find it a waste of money. As for the Le Micro-caviar de rose . I only use it once a week as. sleep on mask . I find it kind of oily for me so I use half of the tiny spoon that comes with it instead of scoop and it is still able to cover my entire face and neck and yes I agree with you its very expensive but I think it will last me for a very long time. haha..for those who are staying in a colder climate might need to use it more often to keep the skin from being too dry.. I've seen other videos on youtube that it is recommended to use it day and night before applying your normal skincare products but I think this is a personal choice..We need to understand our own skin and know what works and what doesn't and how much to apply and which product to apply ..Thee's no need to follow the exact given instruction that's given by the sales person over the counter as we all know they need to earn their commission and might tell you that you need this product to go with that product to see and feel the effect. I wont say that it is all bullshit or the sales person is trying to earn more commission.Listen to them with an open mind and ask questions and then decide for yourself . Get some samples and see what works.The Prestige line is amazing I would say, Dior Prestige L’Huile Souveraine Skin Serum, Prestige Light-in-White La Solution Lumière Activated Serum this two is crazy expensive but I can see immediate result the next day...Nope I didn't buy them I had some samples and I try it on and it's really good. Some of Dior's skin care products comes with re-fill so why not just buy the refill ? not a pretty packing but who cares!! iImportant that you are not paying so much just for the packaging but you pay for the products to work..Pretty things of no use is a waste. I think Dior's one essential is good too and Dior's prestige light-in white UV protector sheer glow with a spf 50++ I love this one very much..For those who put light make up when going out on a weekend can just do without make up by just applying this..u can see the instant glow and its not sticky at all. This is the must have product for me. And Yes, I'm using capture totale cleanser and I feel that is good enough for me no need too high end as for make up remover..I've always been suing Lancome liat Galatea's because you can use it for face and eyes no need to use two different make up remover for eyes and face and that save me some money. I don't put make up but I use eye concealer and the Prestige UV sheer glow and that keeps my face looking bright and alert and lessen the dark under eye and eye bags. I think my eyes have no cure unless I go under the knife! hahaha....wow this is such a long comment!! Always go for the lower line for those who are starting on skin care and slowly upgrade and not start of with very high end then you cna never go back down.

I would have to disagree. Drugstore skincare product are just as good or even better than luxury skincare. You’re paying for the brand not the ingredients. For example, retinol, sunscreen from la roche posay which protect the skin up to 400nm which Dior does not, there’s plenty of different drugstore moisturiser that give u the same luxury feel and smell. You just have to find the right one. Dior claim their product made from rose flower but no clinical evidence that they even work.

For that price, Dior better clean my house once a week, cook me an expensive dinner that it pays for every night and pick up my dry cleaning too so I don't have to LOL! I do love their Capture Totale Super Potent Serum, though!

Stunning packaging. I really love the look of Dior skincare, but I am not wealthy enough to pay the prices! For me, luxury is never about the price or the rarity. It is all about quality and result. I wonder if the rare and exotic ingredients which result in the huge price tag actually make the product more effective? I don't know myself, but it would be interesting to read independent research. It is not just 445 dollars, it is after that you need to continue and it will be more than 445! So think carefully before you start buying it. But I've used this one and honestly, nothing beats it. That caviar is crazy good and amazing. Once you use it there is no turning back. It works and it keeps your skin looking young and in tip top condition.

Hi Steve, I am a big fan of skincare too. The most luxurious I have tried is Chanel Sublimage L'extrait De. It feels really good but not as earth shattering as the price tag in my opinion. Steve, will be interesting if you can do a video comparing the high end line of each luxurious house such as Dior, Chanel, La Mer, Guerlain, Tatcha, Clarins etc. Your video can be broken down to essence, serum, moisturizer, eye products, lip products etc. What do you think? 😎😁🤗

@@SteveJanKZbinChannel feels and smells amazing. Its too early for any reults though. I feel the skin very relaxed when I use it, and it leaves a very beautiful glow (the micro huile). Haven't tried my eye cream sample yet

I Just purchased Dior Capture Totale Super Potent serum, eyes cream, day and night cream and cleansing lotion and loving them. I have used so many products in the past including high/medium brands but haven’t felt my skin feeling so soft and radiant as Dior. And I don’t need to use a lot as the serum and cream melts right into the skin. I don’t know if I will improve my skin texture but my aunt used this brand and her skin looks radiant which prompted me to try Dior brand. They are expensive but if they work then it’s worth it rather than spending so much on facials treatments.
