Watch This Before You Buy Dior Sauvage

Dior Sauvage EDT is an amazing scent that many people know and love. Many people have mixed opinions on it, but no one can deny that it's an amazing fragrance. The question is, should YOU buy it? This video is simply my opinion on it.

Sauvage EDT is my Signature scent. I also use After shave,Parfum & Elixir. I was in High school when Eau Sauvage came out (1966) & still use it as well. Great review Thanks.

Good review. My first purchase from the Sauvage line wasn’t the EDT, but the Parfum earlier this year. I prefer the more mature trail. I then bought Elixir…holy smoke!! 2-3 sprays are enough for me. In fact, the scent trail travels upstairs…true story. “What are you wearing?” For a more intense trail I spray the Parfum on my chest and 2-3 sprays of Elixir on my neck. The dry down of elixir is SO good! I bet that early batches of the EDT were great, but when I sampled it at a dept store earlier this year, the scent disappeared after half an hour. Btw…I have Y EDT and EDP, too.

That’s awesome MT! You just completely sold me on Elixir and now I have to get it. Lol Yeah the Parfum is definitely a more well rounded scent. Which do you prefer out of the 2 Y fragrances. I personally appreciate the EDT but looveee the EDP.

@@omoscents6003 I prefer Y EDT too…even though it’s a fleeting fragrance! I find Y EDP a bit too piercing for me. I know it’s all the rage, but that piercing metallic trail annoyed me after a while. Sauvage Parfum and Bleu de Chanel Parfum are 2 misunderstood flankers. I’ve read lots of comments that their projections are poor. Well the high concentration of perfume is the reason for that. Elixir is really in its own niche, imo. It’s a complex fragrance. The initial blast is intense. After 10 minutes or so the lavender and liquorice notes shine through. The dry down is so good. It’s the first fragrance I’ve owned that last 12+ hours!!

sauvage is great tho. But also that is its biggest downside - everybody loves it and almost everybody has it. It was my first ever designer cologne back in like 2017 and after that i started building now pretty big collection. Thats pretty sad that its that popular, thats only one reason why I dont really use it. Great vid, keep it up king

@@omoscents6003 right now my signature is givenchy gentleman boisee but its getting wormer now so I think about changing it to ADG essenza. Whats your signature? Im pretty curious

@@TimTimeless yeah it’s getting a bit hot for that. You can never go wrong with that ADG! I’ve been wearing YSL Ultime and Perry Ellis red 360 mainly.

Try mixing it with elixir, it turns in to something else. Just one spray of elixir.
