Or sometimes they just do a flat fee of 1 percent, that seems to be the standard. Someone who doesn't have a set price or "negotiates" probably needs to be checked out. The attorneys I use and recommend keep growing based on amazing work so they wouldn't drop prices...also be aware of an agent selling your home who will drop pricing as the other agents who bring the buyers may not show your home to potential buyers as the selling agent dropped their commission for them without discussing it. So many unique things happening here in Portugal.

Habitation license simply means the property is suitable for people living in it, it is a minimum standard. No habitation license is a red flag, stay away. Also the law may change again …

Are portugese banks happy to accept fiat deposits from crypto exchanges more so than UK banks? Would I be better as an EU passport holder living in the UK to relocate to Portugal when cashing out large sums from crypto into fiat? @@prjkd you just cant understand. Real estate in Portugal is expensive because speculation and costs of constrution. All new construction is on luxury segment (where construction companies make more money). Read some local newspappers

@@luisfilipe534 Fully agree. Prices has gone up in recent years, by A LOT. Still, there are hidden gems if you look around, but I guess they start at around 400k Eur .. but hey. My house also increased in Sweden, so I shoud be fine making the swap in a few years :) ..
