It takes a 9v battery. It doesn't drain the battery life unless the system is turned on and batteries last a pretty long time. And yes! You can record video and audio even on a camera phone. This is a sample of my setup with a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra kzbin.infoU0HTGWJ5V24?feature=share

Yes. I added the audio directly to my phone and edited it all on capcut.

Couple of questions: I am a host of a podcast and find that during editing I can hear the other person's voice pick up in my mic and its a mess during editing. Did you notice that this mic removed that or no? Overall, would this be worth it to buy?

I was able to get a clean sound from it when I did my test podcast with a few friends. Didn't notice any interference with the mics. So far, it's been a great addition to my microphone setup.

Dawg im sorry. But these mics are trash. Save up just a bit extra and get the Rode podmic instead. Way better. Worth it. And not that much more expensive.

@thedadjokepage yea I bought the bundle package. Two mics and an audio interface. The mics are really cheaply made amd the interface doesn't work properly. Maybe I just got a faulty batch but I was not impressed at all. Especially not for 225 bucks.
