Yes please do a video on your favorite foundations. It’s one of my favorite things to try! I don’t really have a “go to” foundation. I need one to take with me to Disney World at the end of the year. I’m going to a wedding in Disney, it’s a 3 day event so I need something to last all day and most of the night. I can’t think of one that I have that lasts that long 🤣 I have dry skin for reference

I've been absolutely loving the Nars light reflecting foundation it's now my favourite foundation, i still love my Armani luminous silk, Dior backstage face and body, Nars soft matte and CT flawless finish foundation but the light reflecting is the best out of my collection

I’ve purchased 2 new foundations to try but it hasn’t unseated my go to: Dior Backstage & Dior Powder No powder. The ones I’ve tried are ok, but my shade match for Dior is just impeccable. The IT CC was probably one of the worst foundations I’ve ever tried. I felt like I’d done something wrong bc so many people love it. Somehow I looked dry and parched but also had a greasy heavy feeling. Big nope. However I gave it to a friend who has now said it’s the best thing she’s ever tried. Who knows

Agree with you 💯. The IT products lately have been a thumbs down 👎 for me. I too have dry skin and IT just emphasizes the dryness and makes my skin look much older. I like the minimal and natural look with a touch of dewiness, especially for summer. Im very happy with my Elta MD tinted sunscreen, spf 44. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Saie cosmetics good for using it for your daily workouts & AM/PM walks that’s it. Rare beauty need more time to figure it out but I like so far. CT I have yet to try but I will but so far the best CC cream that I know works the best is IT cosmetics hands down. Thanks for your review Sam.

I am a more oily skin girl and LOVE the CT Beautiful Skin and the NARS Light Reflecting foundations. I powder the CT one after lunch on my fivehead and nose and am good to go. I need to try Sigma as a brand. I’m a brush junkie (cause I’m lazy about cleaning) and really want to try the lip products.

I haven’t bought any new foundations this year, I told myself I better use some up . I actually did finish 2 so far. Makeup is only good as far as it works for you and it can be so off putting to buy something expensive just for it to fail. I find myself reaching for my old favorites. I will definitely be getting the sigma color corrector. Please do a video of your favorite foundations if you have the time and inclination!

I very much love the Dm yummy, especially with the new balm she just came out with as a primer and i use the Mkfe on days when my acne is acting up.

Sam I can now use the Dior powder without breaking out 👌😃. Continued to try it - and yes it must have been something else. So happy because it is a miracle powder. It is absolutely fabolous, It is like I get a ”filter” on my skin. Cant explain it - but LOVE it💕 Like my new NaRS Foundation but mix it with shiseido syncro skin radiant version 😘

Try the Dior air flash, on a damp sponge and it’s going to give you light to light medium coverage and it’s fantastic on dry skin. Also, if you have not tried the Surratt dewdrops they are probably my second favorite foundation

I too agree that these new foundations aren’t saying anything. I tried samples of charlotte tilbury, and makeup forever. I still have a sample of the kosas to try. I’ll try Danessa‘s and Wayne Goss’ later in the year because those likely won’t work for me in the summertime. I did buy givenchy matte foundation and I like it. I’m also loving Chanel Ultra le teint (I just got a sample) -it’s clear I need longwear products! Holy grails: Lancôme teint idole, Bare minerals barepro, Dior face and body, Cle de peau radiant matte and UD stay naked.

But a few of the foundations I've loved for my skin have been: sol body skin and body tint, undone beauty matte skin tint, covergirl full spectrum foundation, uoma beauty say what foundation and the it Cosmetics matte cc cream.

The Bliss Blockstar is seriously my holy grail tinted mineral sunscreen. I use it as a sunscreen/primer under foundation. And I mix it with bronzing drops on no makeup days. Glad you reviewed the Saie. I was considering trying it, but I will stick to Bliss.

I’m loving 🥰 the new NARS Foundation. I have more dry skin with redness on my cheek and it covers my redness but doesn’t look like I’m wearing a ton of makeup! I did get the Rare Beauty tinted moisturizer and when I put it on my face the shade match was so off. It was very orange on me I looked like a clown lol. I’m going to get the Sigma color corrector cream if you love it I know I’ll love it!

I've definitely been into the more light coverage looks recently with just spot concealing. I love the Mac face and body and the new NARS one, although I don't have that one in the best shade for me. I also have recently tried the Fenty Eaze Drop but that one I go back and forth on. kinda wish I returned it but I can make it work and maybe it'll be better in the summer since its more matte.

For some reason I can’t use CC creams. I have oily skin and they oxidize on me. The Elf one did also. I cannot use complexion products that are illuminating or radiant. I believe the only one that looked really pretty was an illuminating primer by Yensa with the Wander beauty foundation. Then I just set it with powder. It looked so beautiful and it was not texture enhancing or break apart. Oil primers, forget it. That’s why I just skip on Charlotte’s products. I only have her Magic cream and I only use it at night, in the winter time.

Yes for a list of your current loves in these categories! Also, I grabbed the Wet N Wile Tinted Moisturizer because it was on sale for 3.50(!) at Ulta. Grabbed two shades and I LOVE it. talk about being dewy all day, but it gets rid of my redness! I love it. Also, I realized after your comments on the Glamlight Frosted Flakes palette in the Will I Buy It that you may be subconsciously avoiding it because it's Broncos colors. Samantha, I love your dress and your tan is definitely 🔥! You look so pretty as always. I use a cc creme from a brand called Prebelle. You’ve probably seen a ton of ads on Facebook for it. It gives me the my skin but better look. I believed the hype of all the videos, caved and bought it and so glad I did. I just turned 50 in March and have a little texture (large pore’s) in my cheek and lower forehead (if ya know ya know). It gives enough cover to blur those while still looking skin like and not cakey at all. I don’t think I’ve heard ANYONE talk about and I think it’s a great beauty secret that know one knows about. It’s called prebelle cc cream and it’s around. $40-45 and I’m definitely going to hit pan and repurchase! Just wanted to let you and everyone else know about! Sorry for the chatty comment but that’s how much I use it!
