The Eliet 401, is the Briggs engine any good? I know you can get it with Honda gp 160 engine too, much difference?

I've had the Briggs engines for 8 yeatrs out on the hire fleet and they work fine 👍

Is there any reason why Stihl use the AK series battery in the 240 scarifier ? I have a number of Stihl machines using the AP series battery and did not want to start another battery system with a different charger. If the 240 used the AP system I would have already made my purchass, what it needs is an adapter similar to the one for the AP series which allows the backpack battery connected by the cable to be used minimizing the electrical clutter on my workbench, can you put my suggestion to Stihl ? i purchased the scissor cutting head from you and it works very well

In all honesty I don't know but i'll bring it up at the next Stihl meeting i've got., Glad to hear you like the scissor head! 👍

I would be grateful if you could as it seems another issue that must make extra work for them by having to carry two ranges of batteries. I thought I read somewhere that the charger would work for both AK and AP batteries ? Might be my faulty memory 😎 why change the form factor of the AK battery when if they wanted to keep price and power down to differentiate the models they could just reduce the battery cells in the same AP outside shape and size that would allow interchangeably between models.
