What would the preparation strategy be for the working professionals who are working in a steel plant having shifting duty and a very toxic work culture? In that case, should he not leave his job or not?

You should be able to allocate 1 to 2 hrs on the weekdays and the max. amount of time during your weekends. So, check if you could allocate the said time. And, consider switching to other job if you think you could not allocate the said time.

Hey, I was also in the same situation. I was doing the same 3-4 hrs travelling daily + shift was of 10 hrs, you can think how burnt I would have been by the end of the day. I shifted to another project in the same company which had a nearby location. Now I reach home in 30-40 mins only.

Hi, It's quite common for some people to start their job after graduation a bit later. When you go for the IIM interview, make sure you explain the reason for the gap to the panel and show how you made good use of that time.

Hi, During MBA interviews, it's not a good idea to say you quit your job to prepare for CAT. However, if you do well in CAT, it shows how effectively you used your time. So, aim for a great CAT score and be careful when explaining why you left your job during the IIM interview.

Great video! Could you please help me out with my situation? I will graduate this month with a BBA Hons.(Finance) degree. Should I get a job from September and work? If I do, when should I quit? After getting a good CAT score or after getting calls from an IIM(considering I perform well)? Or should I prepare for CAT without a job and start my MBA as a fresher? Please answer keeping in mind that I don't want to have a gap in either situation. Thank you.

Having a job is well suited for MBA. Most B-schools have a weightage for work ex. So having a work ex is beneficial to covert to your dream B school. You can prepare for CAT while simultaneously doing a job. If you didn't get required percentile you can try again next year since you do have a job in hand. But if you are sure to do an MBA irrespective of the institute you got, you can take a gap year and prepare. All the best.

Hi, yash, NMAT mocks will be relased once the notifications comes. NMAT previous papers are not available. NMAT exam is no preloaded paper it is based on GMAT pattern, where on the basis of ur previous and next question will appear as hard medium or easy. It is adaptive exam.
