I’ve always enjoyed the strat as a solid affordable option and for me at least it’s close enough to walk into the strip. Only recently heard it’s supposed to be a bad area of town but I never felt that any hour of the night or day I was walking around. Plus it’s a cheap Uber ride to Fremont/strip/random other spots around town I explored. Definitely recommend the view from the top if you haven’t been, WELL worth it!

Haha that’s good! Make sure to ask for the “renovated” rooms if you want a room similar to mine, but if you are ok with an older looking room those are definitely cheaper. I personally don’t mind older as long as it’s clean. Have fun! 😃

One thing you may want to know is that the Stratosphere is now charging for parking. $12 per day during the week and $15 per day Fri-Sat-Sun. No discount if you are staying there or if you are a card member. Of course, they didn't mention this when I made reservations. On the plus side, there was plenty of parking, even on a Saturday with a special event going on all floors were not at full capacity and because I like to park near the elevator I got up to the 7th floor were there were only a dozen cars parked, ON A Saturday! Although I may return, I will be a little hesitant of recommending the Strat, even when they give me free passes to pass along to friends and family.

The definitively did a great job with the room renovations and overall the property looks great! The Conrad at Resorts World is close but I don’t think walking distance… I’d definitely recommend taking an Uber or Lyft! 🙌😃

Just came back from my 2 nights stay at The Strat (1 night in another hotel) and I have only good words to say about it. My room was spick-and-span, bed and pillows very comfortable, hallways leading to my room is well-lit. Because I am cheap, I didn't need an uber or taxi, I felt so safe taking the DEUCE going up and down the strip, be it day or night. I think any hotel has pros and cons, so it's a leap of faith booking an accommodation.

@@LuisRomanVlog I did. The only reason why I didn't book The Strat for the duration of my short vacation was I wanted to sleep in a more expensive and centrally located hotel and to compare between the two 😁 The Strat won me over!!!

Yes, they have several shows. There is an adults-only one 🤫 and then there is a mind reading show, a comedy one and there is one by America’s Got Talent called iLuminate.

how far is walking to the strip from the hotel ? this is safe at night

I wouldn't recommend walking to the strip from the Strat - just to far walking distance. Taking a Lyft or an Uber is a better option. I went outside for a little to take some pictures and didn't feel unsafe.

I don't have the best review to post but here's my experience at the Strat. 1st, I thought it grossly smelled of stale cigarette! Our room was on the 17th floor. Noticed white powder along all baseboards inside & outside the room & hallways. Scary. You know the immediate thought. 2bd the safe did not work. Had important papers taken & some sterling silver jewelry taken from my luggage. I filed a complaint. Been over a week. No response to that. Got the runaround from everyone & can't speak to management no matter how much you try. Lady resort is to post on every site a comment & warn folk to BEWARE! Oh yeah, the weed smell on that floor wreaked in the hallways as it does in the streets. It was gross! Never again! I will be filing a Police report & Better Business. Disgruntled, dissatisfied & disgusted. I want my personal belongings back!!!!!! Parking was $20.00 a day👎👎 👎

I did not. But I didn't spend a lot of time outside. I just went outside for a little bit in the morning and at night to take some pictures of the hotel. I did not feel unsafe, there were other guests outside too.
