I love the finger lakes! During one of our trips we rented the farmhouse at the Grist Iron with friends for a few nights. Grist Iron is great, Three Brothers Winery on the same side of Seneca Lake is pretty cool too. Watkins Glen wasn't shown here, but the hike and falls at the WG state park are awesome. There were many things profiled on this video that I didn't know about but will explore on our next several visits !!

This has all sorts of errors. There are indeed hot air balloon rides over Letchworth but most are over much more distant lakes and areas. You mentioned Buttermilk Falls twice but failed to mention Taughgannock Falls State park (he highest in the east), Robert Treman State park (renowned as possibly the best), Watkins Glen State Park, (possibly the best known), Filmore Glen state park, and more than I can list, all with numerous waterfalls. Also Ithaca Falls. The Cornell Botannical Gardens is in fact a mere 25 acres. Its when you throw in all the other WIDELY DISTANT parks that Cornell owns that you come up with thousands of acres. For instance the lakeshore part you mentioned is on the northern end of Cayuga lake about 36 miles away. Most of those acres are many miles away from Cornell and about impossible to get good info or maps showing where they are,
